Baseball Tomorrow Fund
The Baseball Tomorrow Fund (BTF) is a joint initiative between Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA). The fund awards grants to organizations involved in the operation of youth baseball and softball programs and facilities.
Mission: to promote and enhance the growth of youth participation in baseball and softball throughout the world.
BTF funds programs, fields, coaches training and uniforms, equipment and other selected program expenses. In addition, BTF provides educational support to grant recipients and applicants, to help organizations become self-sufficient and effective. Learn More
Pitch In for Baseball
Founded in 2005, Pitch In For Baseball (PIFB) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on increasing access to baseball and softball for boys and girls in the United States and around the world who want to play ball but lack the equipment to do so. PIFB is the proven leader in collecting new and gently used equipment and uniforms and redistributing them to communities and organizations in need. To date, PIFB assisted over 400,000 children gain access to the game in 80 countries worldwide and in over 450 communities here in the United States. Learn More
Positive Coaching Alliance
Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) is a national non-profit developing better athletes, better people through resources for youth and high school sports coaches, parents, administrators and student-athletes. In addition to hundreds of free audio-video and printable tips and tools at the Development ZoneTM, PCA has partnered with roughly 3,000 schools and youth sports organizations nationwide to deliver live group workshops, online courses and books that help those involved in youth and high school sports create a positive, character-building youth sports culture.
PCA strives to create a Development ZoneTM culture, where the goal is to develop Better Athletes, Better People and where the prevailing models in youth and high school sports are:
- The Double-Goal Coach®, who strives to win while also pursuing the more important goal of teaching life lessons through sports
- The Second-Goal Parent®, who concentrates on life lessons, while letting coaches and athletes focus on competing
- The Triple-Impact Competitor®, who strives to impact sport on three levels by improving oneself, teammates and the sport as a whole
