Huguenot Huskies 1, Team Elite American 11


Team American Elite was efficient on both sides of the ball to defeat Huguenot Huskies 11-1 in both team's final game of the tournament on Sunday at the National Training Complex in Cary, N.C. 
Huguenot Huskies scored their lone run of the game in the top of the first when Nick McCray scored on a wild pitch. Team Elite American responded in the bottom of the second with a three-run inning led by an RBI-singles from Jackson Wells and Luke Yoon. Team Elite American tacked on four more runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI-doubles from Isaiah Hunter and Gavin Johnson, as well another RBI-single from Yoon. 
After both teams were held scoreless through the next two innings, Team Elite American tallied three more runs in the bottom of the sixth to seal the win.
Blake Cheatham earned the win for Team Elite American after four innings pitched and recording three strikeouts. Noah Ontiveros suffered the loss for Huguenot Huskies.

Rawlings Prospects 11, East Coast Clippers 6


Rawlings Prospects made the most of a strong start from Dylan Mason and scored eight runs against the East Coast Clippers to clinch a spot in the 2019 14U Cup Championship game Sunday afternoon at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.
Mason was effective on the bump for the Prospects, tossing five strong innings and allowing three earned runs on six hits while striking out two. Mason (2-0) was credited with the win while Ryan Hench (0-1) was the losing pitcher of record.
On the offensive side of the ball, Mason helped his own cause by going 1-for-2 at the dish and driving in two. Seth Lumpkin was 1-for-2 with two RBIs as well.
The win propelled the Prospects to the 14U Cup Championship game, which will take place Sunday at 2:00 pm ET. They will face off against Canes Barbour on Coleman Field. East Coast Clippers will play for bronze as they take on NW Elite at 2:00 pm ET on field two.

Canes Barbour 10 vs. NW Elite 9


Canes Barbour secured their spot in the 2019 14U Cup gold medal game Sunday afternoon after defeating NW Elite in extra innings at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina. 
Canes Barbour were first on the board in the contest, scoring one run in the top of the first inning courtesy of an RBI groundout to jump out to the early 1-0 lead. NW Elite bounced back with two runs in the bottom of the first, and the two teams continued to go back-and-forth for much of the game. Both teams were tied at the end of regulation, and extra innings were needed to determine a winner. 
Canes Barbour scored two runs in the top of the eight to jump out to a 10-8 lead. They needed just three outs to secure the win and move on to the gold medal game. NW Elite scored a run in the bottom half of the inning to make it a one run ballgame, but Cane Barbour shut the door to secure the 10-9 victory and move on to the 14U Cup gold medal game.
Canes Barbour will square off against Rawlings Prospects on Coleman Field at 2:00 pm ET for the title of 14U Cup champion, while NW Elite will play East Coast Clippers for bronze at the same time.

TPA Nationals 2 vs. RBA South Phillies 3


RBA South Phillies came from behind to defeat TPA Nationals 3-2 on Sunday at the National Training Complex in Cary, N.C. 
TPA Nationals started the game off in the top of the first when Andrew Clifford grounded out to the pitcher but allowed Aaron Bryant to cross the plate. After three scoreless innings, Jaden Kline tied the game up with an RBI-double for RBA South Phillies in the bottom of the fourth. TPA Nationals regained the lead when A.J. Ciaccio stole home in the top of the fifth. 
Wade Haney hit an RBI-single in the bottom of the fifth for RBA South Phillies to tie the game. Two batters later, Haney stole home to recapture the lead and seal the victory for RBA South Phillies
Ryan Garrison earned the win for RBA South Phillies after four innings pitched. Matthew Prince suffered the loss for TPA Nationals.

Tri State Arsenal 4, NCBA White 5 


NCBA White edged out a 5-4 win over Tri State Arsenal on Sunday at the National Training Complex in Cary, N.C.
NCBA White was first to strike out when S Boris scored after stealing home and E Norby scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the first. Tri State Arsenal responded in the top of the second when A Donathan doubled in the top of the second to bring in Tri State's first run of the game. Tri State added two more runs in the top of the third to give them a 3-2 lead. 
NCBA White answered with two runs of their own in the bottom of the third after T Schafer and K Howell hit RBI-singles and gave NCBA White a one run lead. Tri State Arsenal tied the game up in the top of the fourth but NCBA White quickly regained the lead after Norby hit an RBI-double to right field and brought home the game winning run.
Wyatt Stanley earned the win for NCBA White. Pierce Bowman suffered the loss for Tri State Arsenal. 
Tri State Arsenal finished the tournament 1-3, while NCBA White finished 2-2.

Mid Maryland United 16, NCDB Rivercats 5


Mid Maryland United score 16 runs on 13 hits to overcome NCDB Rivercats Sunday afternoon at the USA Baseball 14U Cup in Cary, North Carolina. 
Mid Maryland United scored in three of five innings, including an eleven run fourth inning, forcing a win by run rule.
Mid Maryland United utilized two pitchers, Bryce Rudisill and Ryan Woolery to get the job done on the mound. The duo combined to allow two earned runs on three hits while striking out five. Rudisill (1-0) earned the win while Jackson Thomas (0-1) was the losing pitcher.
Mid Maryland United finished the 2019 14U Cup 2-2 while the NCDB Rivercats finished 1-3.

Virginia Cardinals 5, Blue Chips 6


The Blue Chips walked off the Virginia Cardinals 6-5 at the 2019 14U Cup Sunday at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.
The Virginia Cardinals jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the second and held on to the lead until the fifth inning, when the Blue Chips posted a four-run inning to tie the game at five apiece. The game remained tied through regulation, forcing extra innings to determine a winner. 
In the bottom of the eighth, the Blue Chips loaded the bases and walked it off after the Virginia Cardinals allowed a ball to pass. The final score was 6-5, Blue Chips.
The win allowed the Blue Chips to finish the 2019 14U Cup with a 2-2 record while the Virginia Cardinals finished 0-4.

Syracuse Sports Zone 11, Bel Air Braves 3


Syracuse Sports Zone scored in six of seven innings to defeat Bel Air Braves 11-3 on the final day of the 2019 14U Cup at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.
Syracuse Sports Zone jumped out an early lead after scoring two runs in the top of the first inning. From there, they went on to score in the next five of six innings, totaling eleven runs on the backs of 17 hits.
On the mound for Syracuse Sports Zone, Kevin Dolan was effective, tossing six innings while allowing just three earned runs and striking out four. Dolan (1-0) earned the win while Cole Saxon (0-1) was the losing pitcher of record.
The win means that Syracuse Sports Zone finished the 2019 14U Cup with a 1-3 record while the Bel Air Braves also finished with a 1-3 record.
