From April 1 to May 5, Peterson had a 22-game hitting streak, during which he was 38-for-93 (.409) with eight homers, 31 RBIs, and 21 runs. In a March 16 game against San Diego State, Peterson went 5-for-5 with two home runs, four RBIs, three runs and had 11 total bases.
