Michael Wacha finished the 2012 regular season with a perfect 8-0 record and was a First Team All-Big 12 selection. He racked up 99 strikeouts and had a 2.09 ERA over 99 innings. He walked only 16 hitters and held his opponents to a .225 batting average. Against Texas Tech this season, Wacha became one of only four Texas A&M pitchers to record more than 300 strikeouts in a career.
