Richie Shaffer

Richie Shaffer was named ACC Player of the Week three times in 2012 for his play at Clemson. From February to March, he recorded seven consecutive multi-hit games, and in April, Shaffer had eight consecutive multi-hit games. From March to May, Shaffer reached base safely in 32 consecutive games. In Clemson's series against rival South Carolina, Shaffer went 6-for-9 with two homers, two doubles, four RBIs, six runs and six walks to earn the Bob Bradley Award and ACC Player of the Week honors.
