A hitting machine, Louisiana State’s Jacob Berry has been dangerous in the middle of the Tigers’ lineup. The second-team All-SEC selection is slashing .381/.473/.661 on the season and has led LSU to multiple series wins in conference play. The SEC’s leader with a .400 batting average had his biggest moments against Missouri and Georgia. In the three-game sweep of Missouri, Berry batted .600 with three homers, four RBI and five runs. He then led LSU to a series win over Georgia batting .462 with one double, one homer and three RBI where he started the comeback in Game 3. His batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, total bases and hits are among the top 10 offensively in the SEC.
