Ethan Petry

In his first season as a South Carolina Gamecock, Ethan Petry has set freshman school records in both home runs (21) and RBI (69) while ranking in the top 10 in the SEC in batting average (.379), home runs, RBI, slugging percentage (.749) and total bases (146). Petry was named the national Midseason Freshman of the Year by D1Baseball.com and Perfect Game and has been a four-time SEC Freshman of the Week to go along with an SEC Player of the Week honor in April.
