Devin Taylor has been one of the most prolific college hitters over the last three seasons. Already the owner of IU’s home run record, the Cincinnati native has slugged 52 long balls in three years with the Hoosiers. He is a career .347 hitter and owns more than 170 RBI.
In 2025 alone, he is top 10 in most offensive categories in the Big Ten. He’s hitting .366 with 75 hits, 16 home runs, 61 runs scored, 60 RBI and 13 doubles. He’s also stolen 12 bases and been walked 51 times. His all-around ability to play the game has made him a perfect piece at the top of IU’s order.
He was the 2023 Big Ten Freshman of the Year and an All-American by multiple outlets in 2024. He projects as a repeat All-American in 2025, and is likely to be the first Hoosiers player in program history to earn First Team All-Big Ten honors in his first three years of college baseball.
