Drew Burress

Drew Burress, the reigning National Freshman of the Year, began his second season with a bang, launching a walk-off grand slam to secure the opening weekend sweep. It set the tone for another remarkable season for Burress as he is the only player in the nation with at least 50 RBI (57), 60 runs (70), 15 HR (16), 40 walks (46) and 19 doubles (23). He has reached base in over 50 games this season and produced the fifth-longest on-base streak in Georgia Tech history, reaching base for 56 straight from April 28, 2024-April 19, 2025. He is the only underclassman with 40 career home runs and leads all of Division I with a .757 career slugging percentage.
