Ike Irish has been a hitter since he stepped foot on the Plains in fall 2022, and has turned in a .346 career batting average in 154 games played. Recognized as a 2023 Freshman All-American and 2024 First Team All-SEC honoree, he has amassed 212 hits, including 45 doubles, five triples, 36 home runs and 161 RBI.
Irish became the first Auburn player since 2016 to surpass the 200-career hit milestone. Playing in the best conference in the country, Irish ranks top five in the league in SEC games in average (.398), on-base percentage (.480), slugging percentage (.852), runs (38), home runs (13), hits (43), RBI (33) and total bases (76). When the Tigers go on the road and compete in the most hostile environments in the country, Irish takes his game to the next level. In 15 SEC road games, nine of which have come against top 10 teams, he is hitting .433 (26-for-60) with 22 runs, 12 home runs and 21 RBI.
