Florida State junior left-handed ace and team captain Jamie Arnold has led the Seminoles to a top-five national ranking in 2025, all while raising money and awareness for cystic fibrosis and being consistently recognized as one of the country’s top MLB Draft prospects.
FSU’s ace for more than a year, Arnold is among the NCAA and ACC leaders in ERA (2.59), strikeouts (90), WHIP (1.03) and fewest hits allowed per nine innings (6.14). A First Team All-American and Golden Spikes Award semifinalist last season, he has been named to the National Pitcher of the Year Watch List and was tabbed the Midseason No. 3-ranked starting pitcher by D1Baseball this year, in addition to being widely recognized throughout the last year as a top-three 2025 MLB Draft prospect.
Before the season, Arnold established the K-Time for Cystic Fibrosis campaign to honor Bradley, a young FSU fan he befriended with cystic fibrosis. Arnold is donating $25 for every strikeout in 2025 to cystic fibrosis research, and his 90 strikeouts have raised $2,250.
