After being lightly recruited out of high school, Aiden Robbins has emerged as one of the top college Draft prospects in the country.
Robbins paces the Longhorns in 11 offensive categories, highlighted by his .355 average, 19 home runs, 52 RBI and 1.153 OPS. In SEC play, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound outfielder is tied for first in homers (11), second in total bases (76), third in slugging (.724) and OPS (1.159), sixth in average (.352), tied for sixth in runs scored (26) and 10th in hits (37).
As of May 11, Robbins is tied for the fifth-most home runs by a Longhorn in a season, matching Murphy Stehly (2022), Kyle Russell (2008) and Brooks Kieschnick (1993). In only his 134th at-bat at Texas, he rocketed his 13th blast, surpassing his two-year total at Seton Hall (12). On Feb. 21 vs. Michigan State, Robbins rewrote the record books, becoming the first Longhorn to hit for the cycle since C.J. Hinojosa in 2015.
