Gavin Grahovac has powered the Aggies lineup, starting all 49 games this season. After spending his freshman and sophomore seasons primarily as a third baseman, he has made a seamless transition to first base, committing just one error all season.
Offensively, Grahovac is producing arguably his most successful season at the plate, owning a slash line of .354/.438/.717. He leads the Aggies in numerous statistical categories, including batting average, hits (70) and runs (65). The righty slugger has reached base in all but two SEC games this season and leads the league in conference games in slugging percentage (.743), runs (34), RBI (40), home runs (11) and total bases (81). From March 28-May 2, Grahovac rode a team-best 18-game hitting streak. In that span, he owned a slash line of .413/.467/1.013 with 31 runs, 35 RBI, 14 home runs, two doubles and two triples.
Grahovac's presence is felt off the field, viewed by his teammates as one of the vocal leaders of the club.
