Lorenzo Carrier has emerged as one of the most lethal power hitters in college baseball in 2026.
Nationally, the redshirt senior ranks among the leaders in home runs, RBI, slugging percentage, on-base percentage and walks. Carrier leapt into the national eye with a month of March where he batted .500 with 28 hits, 28 runs scored, 33 RBI, 11 home runs and 25 walks while slugging 1.196 in 56 at-bats.
The Bear, Del., native is closing in on single-season program records for home runs, walks, RBI and slugging percentage. He has helped lead the Panther offense to program records in home runs and walks in a single season as well.
As for his work off the field, Carrier is very involved in the classroom and in the community and was named as one of the nine finalists for the 2026 Tony Gwynn Community Service Trophy. Academically, Lorenzo has earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District, Academic All-ACC and ACC Academic Honor Roll honors throughout his career.
