Tague Davis is turning in one of the best offensive seasons of anyone in the country. The sophomore is the national leader in home runs, RBI and total bases, and ranks third in slugging percentage. Davis set the Louisville single-season record for home runs and also broke the single-season ACC record with 34. Davis has put on a show throughout the year, recording six multi-homer games, including a three-homer day at Cal. Nineteen of his 34 long balls have come during ACC play, the most by any ACC player in the last 10 years. Davis is aiming to become the first player since 2003 to lead Division I in both home runs and RBI at the end of the regular season.
