Vahn Lackey

Vahn Lackey, the 2026 ACC Defensive Player of the Year, is one of the best catchers in college baseball. His 4.88 WAR leads all ACC catchers while he has delivered career highs in batting average (.402), OBP (.518), slugging % (.747) OPS (1.265), runs (72), RBI (69), extra-base hits (34) and walks (43). He has blossomed from already being one of the most feared catchers in the nation defensively, recording seven caught stealings and four back pick outs this season alone, to becoming an all-around nightmare for opponents on the offensive side as well, serving as the Yellow Jackets' cleanup hitter in one of the most potent offenses in all of college baseball.
