Players who have previously donned the stars and stripes are making impacts at every level, from high school to the pros. College/Prep
- Drew Burress (2019 15U, 2024 & 2025 CNT) extended his hit streak to 10 games while helping Georgia Tech secure a series sweep over Florida State in a top five matchup. He capped off his week with a 4-for-4 outing with three RBIs and four runs scored in the series finale on April 12.
- Ross Felder (2018 12U) continues to shine on the bump for Missouri State. On Friday night, the right-hander pitched seven innings of one-run ball against Delaware, striking out eight and walking none to earn the victory. The redshirt freshman is sporting a 2.95 ERA and 7.4 K/BB ratio on the season.
- Texas A&M’s Gavin Grahovac (2017 12U, 2022 18U, 2024 CNT) just keeps hitting for the Aggies, as he went 4-for-9 in a two-game sweep of No. 2 Texas. The Orange, Calif., native smacked two triples against the in-state rival, driving in five and scoring four runs across the two games. Grahovac is now batting .356.
- Brayden Jaksa (2024 18U) kickstarted the week in a strong way, hitting .583 across the first three games as Oregon played Portland and Nebraska. The freshman homered twice and scored seven runs for the Ducks in a critical conference series against the Cornhuskers.
- The Vols found a series to hang their hat on, sweeping Mississippi State in a three-game set which saw a quality start from Tegan Kuhns (2023 18U) Saturday evening, who hurled six innings, fanned seven and gave up two runs.
- Texas A&M kept it in state this past week, competing against Texas State in a midweek while facing Texas this past weekend. Nico Partida (2024 18U) played a key role and provided consistency for the Aggie offense, collecting four hits including one homer, four RBIs, and three runs scored across three games played.
- It was a nine-hit week for App State’s Ethan Puig (2021 15U), who helped lead the Mountaineers to a series win against Louisiana-Monroe. Puig boasted back-to-back three-hit games to kick off the week, compiling three RBIs and six runs scored across four games played.
- Jackson State’s Tyree Reed (2018 15U) put on an offensive clinic at the plate last Sunday despite losing to Florida A&M in the final game of the three-game set. Reed not only put up four hits on the day, but he swatted three home runs, drove in five runs, and upped his batting average on the season to .378.
- Zach Strickland (2021 15U) got the start for the top-ranked UCLA Bruins on Friday night against Rutgers and helped keep his team at the top of the rankings, throwing four shutout innings of two-hit ball and striking out seven in a 4-1 win.

- Colorado’s Mickey Moniak (2013 15U, 2015 18U) also homered twice last weekend, sending a pair of pitches into orbit as part of his 3-for-4, four RBI day against San Diego.
- Seaver King (2024 CNT) and Jace LaViolette (2023 CNT) had personal career milestones last week, as King hit his first home run in Double-A ball for the Harrisburg Senators and LaViolette hit his first professional home run with High-A Lake County Captains.
- Daniel Susac (2021 CNT) is off to a hot start in his MLB career batting .636 through six games. He made history as the first player since 1961 to start their career 5-for-5 on April 8.
- On Sunday, Brice Turang (2014 15U, 2016 & 2017 18U, 2026 Pro) homered twice and scored three runs in a 3-for-4 outing at the plate in a 6-8 loss to the Washington Nationals.
- Guardians prospect Ralphy Velazquez (2016 12U, 2017 12U) is off to a hot start in Double-A with the Akron RubberDucks. The No. 82 on MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 Prospects list is slashing .344/.432/.594 through 32 at-bats. He collected seven hits, one homer, one triple, and four RBIs during last week’s action.
- Michael Wacha (2011 CNT, 2026 Pro) tossed eight complete innings en route to Kansas City’s 2-0 win over the Chicago White Sox, allowing just four hits while striking out seven batters.
- JJ Wetherholt (2023 CNT) has reached base safely in 13 of his first 15 big league games. In each of his first 11 starts he has reached base safely to hold the longest streak by a left-handed Cardinals rookie.
