PHOENIX - Steven Milam of 3D Gold has been named the Player of the Day for June 27. Milam had a big day at the plate for his squad, reaching base four times times off four hits while scoring three of his team's 15 runs they totaled in their back-to-back victories in the first two rounds of bracket play.
San Diego Show's Kade Johnstone and Duke Ekstrom have been named Co-Pitcher of the Day. Johnson tossed a complete game no-hitter on the bump-today, holding the Saddleback Cowboys to just three baserunners. He tossed seven innings to dominate Saddleback for a 2-0 victory, striking out five. 
Ekstrom also threw a complete game for San Diego, this one was an 11-1 run rule. Ekstrom allowed just one hit and sent six batters packing in his four innings of work. The win advanced the San Diego Show to quarterfinal action.
