PHOENIX - On day two of bracket action at the USA Baseball 15U National Team Championships in Arizona, Malcom Moore of NorCal Baseball 2022 Blue and Kyle Calzadiaz of GBG Renegades have been named the Player and Pitcher of the Day, respectively, for their efforts in their team's wins.
Moore had a two big hits at the plate for NorCal, knocking a single and a home run into play in the his team's quarter and semi final victories. Today's win advanced NorCal to the championship game. Moore is currently hitting at a .381 clip through in the tournament while also putting up 10 RBI. 
Calzadiaz tossed a complete game no-hitter on the bump today. He tossed five innings of no-hit ball to dominate Team Utah to the tune of a 8-0 run-rule win, striking out six while walking just one better. The win also sends GBG to the 15U championship game.
