
CARY, N.C. - After a week of strong competition at the National Team Championships North Carolina, 17 players were named to the All-Tournament team.
The list features 11 hitters and seven pitchers, including two members of Elite Squad, who won Thursday’s gold medal game.
Giancarlo Arencibia - East Coast Sox Franchise
Giancarlo Arencibia allowed just two hits across 5.0 innings pitched for the East Coast Sox Franchise. Arencibia finished the tournament with a 0.00 ERA while collecting three strikeouts.
Cam Bagwell - 5 Star National
Cam Bagwell had seven strikeouts in 7.0 innings pitched, allowing no runs and finishing the week with a clean 0.00 ERA.
Sean Benjamin - 5 Star National
Sean Benjamin had a .476 (10-for-21) batting average in seven games, including a three-hit game in the gold medal game. Benjamin had a hit and scored a run in six of his seven games.
Collins Black - South Charlotte Panthers
Collins Black allowed just one earned run in 9.2 innings of work in two appearances during the tournament. He finished the week with a 0.72 ERA and eight strikeouts.
Elijah Clayton - GBG Navy
Elijah Clayton had an impressive week at the plate, hitting .389 (7-for-18) with six RBIs. Clayton also got it done on the basepaths, scoring four runs while stealing three bases.
Joshua Crisp Jr. - Texas Twelve
Joshua Crisp Jr. had six hits on the week, five of which went for extra bases (3 2B, 2 3B) while picking up five RBIs. Crisp Jr. also stole five bases and came across to score nine times during the tournament.
Justin Cuellar - NorCal U
Justin Cuellar struck out 13 batters in just 6.2 innings of work. Cuellar allowed just two earned runs and finished the week with a 2.10 ERA.
Braiden Eagan - Dirtbags
Braiden Eagan allowed just two earned runs across 8.1 innings pitched in two appearances. The righthander finished the tournament with a 1.68 ERA.
Cannon Goldin - Team Elite
Cannon Goldin had a .533 (8-for-15) average in six games, hitting a double and driving in five runs. Goldin scored two runs in two different games against Canes National and Richmond Braves Platinum.
Tyler Hacker - Scorpions Marucci
Tyler Hacker had three multi-hit games, batting .583 (7-for-12) and driving in six runs in six games. Hacker scored eight runs and had a .750 on-base percentage.
Andrew Hart - Richmond Braves Platinum
Andrew Hart posted a .429 (6-for-14) clip at the plate for the week while driving in three runs. Hart also swiped four bases and scored two runs for Richmond Braves Platinum.
Bryce Jackson - Elite Squad
Bryce Jackson hit .474 (9-for-19) with six RBI, scoring six runs. Jackson had a hit in his six final games, driving in a run in the gold medal game.
Owen Lawson - Dulins Dodgers Prime
Owen Lawson pitched 6.1 shutout innings for Dulins Dodgers Prime, finishing the week with a 0.00 ERA.
Cameron Mallo - Top Tier Americans
Cameron Mallo batted .462 (6-for-13) for the Top Tier Americans during the week. He also scored four runs.
Perry Morlando - Canes National
Perry Morlando went 7-for-16 (.438) in six games, including a three-hit performance in his last game of the tournament. Morlando scored five runs and walked four times.
Ethan Puig - Elite Squad
Ethan Puig had a hit in all seven games, with multi-hit games in all but one. The infielder batted .667 (14-for-21), hitting three doubles and driving in eight runs.
Ty Southisene - USA Prime National
Ty Southisene batted .435 (10-for-23) in six games, hitting in all six of them. He drove in four runs, with three of them coming in a win over Top Tier Americans.
