PHOENIX- Lucas Marrujo of San Diego Stars (14U) has been named Player of the Day for July 1. Marrujo helped his team to a 2-0 start, going 4-for-7 at the plate. He blasted a pair of triples to go along with seven RBI and three runs scored.
CCB 16U National's Schott has been named Pitcher of the Day for his outstanding performance on the mound against Canyon Thunder. Schott pitched a complete game shutout in the victory, allowing just three hits and one walk while striking out four.
