In a game that saw the winning run score in the top of the seventh, USA Prime National/Detroit Tigers Underclass used a late rally to get the win. With just seven hits combined in the contest, every run scored was critical. Getting things started in the third, Theo Swafford opened the scoring with an RBI single in the top half of the third, giving USA Prime National an early 1-0 lead. Responding in the bottom of the fourth, Jason Kidd Select scored their lone run of the game on a sac-fly by Austin Brown that tied the game. The winning run came in the top of the seventh off a defensive miscue on a throw, allowing Koltyn Watters to score and put the game at 2-1, a margin that held until the end.
Canes Midwest National 4, EBC 16U-Britcliffe 3
With three out of the seven runs scored coming in the seventh inning, Canes Midwest National held onto their lead in the bottom half to win 4-3. Scoring two runs in the top of the second, Canes Midwest National used a two-RBI double by Will Steffens to take a 2-0 lead. Answering in the following frame, EBC 16U-Britcliffe used two hits to bring in their first run of the game on a defensive miscue. Ian Nichols came to the plate with runners on first and third and delivered with an RBI single to tie the game. A leadoff single and an intentional walk got runners on base for Canes Midwest National in the top of the seventh. With the biggest at-bat of the game, Ty White hit a two-RBI double to take a 4-2 lead. EBC 16U-Britcliffe responded with an RBI double of their own from Jaxon Herod that ultimately wouldn't be enough, with Canes Midwest National winning 4-3.
STIX 2028 Scout 5, Canes National 16U 0
A dominant shoutout performance by STIX 2028 starter Zach Barnes, with the bullpen also allowing no runs, saw STIX 2028 win 5-0. With five hits combined in the game, STIX 2028 Scout took advantage of free passes with some timely hitting, bringing in their five runs. As good as Barnes was on the mound, he also showed some flash in the batter's box with an RBI and a double. Elias Lara came in for STIX 2028 Scout and closed out the game to complete the shutout and earn STIX the win.
Atlanta Braves Scout Team 16U 7, South Charlotte Panthers 2028 Marucci 0
Another dominant pitching performance, this time by the Atlanta Braves Scout Team. In a game that saw a combined shutout between Cade Cantrell and Hunter Carbaugh, the Atlanta Braves Scout Team staff combined for seven innings, three hits, no runs, and eight strikeouts. Scoring all seven runs across two frames, the Atlanta Braves Scout Team scored three runs in the fifth, followed by four in the sixth. The scoring was highlighted by Isaiah Cador’s two RBI single to start the rally for the Atlanta Braves Scout team and win 7-0.
USA Prime National/Detroit Tigers Underclass 8, Canes Midwest National 7
With 15 total runs scored and 17 total hits, there was no shortage of offense between these two titans. USA Prime National plated four runs in the bottom of the first, but Canes Midwest National matched the effort with a four-run top of the second. USA Prime National found the next run in the bottom of the fourth with a sac-fly by Jake Welch. Canes Midwest National struck back with some thunder from a Will Steffens three-run home run to take a 7-5 lead. Though that lead wouldn’t last as USA Prime National took control with multiple RBI singles, taking an 8-7 lead. The game was stopped mid-inning as time expired, leaving USA Prime National as the winner.
Jason Kidd Select 6, EBC 16U-Britcliffe 4
Jason Kidd Select rallied from down 3-1 to come back and win 6-4 in a tight ball game. The third frame saw action heat up, with both teams drawing a run while EBC 16U-Britcliffe took their 3-1 lead off a two-RBI double. Plating two runs at the top of the sixth, Jason Kidd Select got a two-RBI double of their own from Mikey Batiste, knotting the game at three. The momentum carried into the seventh, as Jason Kidd Select plated three more runs with a two-RBI triple and a runner scoring off a wild pitch. EBC 16U-Britcliffe scored their final run of the game off a fielders choices, leading to Jason Kidd Select earning a 6-4 win.
Canes National 16U 6, Atlanta Braves Scout Team 16U 5
With a comeback attempt falling just short, Canes National was able to secure its win and stop the late rally. A massive effort in the second frame saw Canes National put up four runs on three hits with a pair of free passes. The Atlanta Braves Scout Team got their first run of the contest off a wild pitch that scored Rylan Jenkins, who reached with a triple. Canes National put up their fifth run in the bottom of the fourth with an RBI single by Mason Miller. Taking a 6-1 lead into the seventh, Liam Collier cut into the deficit with an RBI triple for the Atlanta Braves Scout Team. Three more runs came across on two bases-loaded walks and a hit-by-pitch, but the rally ended with a flyout, giving Canes National a 6-5 win.
STIX 2028 Scout 3, South Charlotte Panthers 2028 Marucci 2
Drawing the first run of the game in the top of the fifth, STIX 2028 Scout used an RBI single from Elias Lara to take a 1-0 lead. Continuing from their momentum in the previous frame, STIX 2028 Scout scored two more runs in the top of the fifth, highlighted by Miles Applegate’s RBI single that extended their lead to three. South Charlotte scratched across their two runs with an RBI single by Reed Osborne and a sac-fly by Laith Abulatifa across the sixth and seventh frames. Steele LeBouef went a complete game effort for STIX 2028 Scout, working through seven innings and striking out six, picking up the win.
Dirtbags 2028 National 3, ZT National Prospects 16U 2
The triples came in bunches in the contest between the Dirtbags and ZT National Prospects, recording three combined. With all runs scored in the game being brought in during the third frame, the Dirtbags were able to outlast ZT National Prospects thanks to shut-down pitching performances. ZT National Prospect scored both its runs on back-to-back triples from Conner Clearly and Zion Avina. The Dirtbags triple by Henry Tutera brought in two runs, followed by a Cal Schnabel sac-fly to put the Dirtbags up 3-2.
Top Tier Select 3, Team Elite 2
Jumping out to an early lead, Top Tier Select plated three runs in the top of the first, highlighted by a two-RBI single from Cooper Nichols. Both teams' pitching staff put up zeros until the bottom of the fifth when Team Elite struck with two runs of their own. Team Elite plated both runs off of wild pitches to cut the deficit to one. Top Tier was able to hold Team Elite scoreless until the finish line and earned a 3-2 win.
SBA Bolts National 2028 6, Arizona Diamondbacks Scout Team 2
A tie game headed into the bottom of the sixth, but unravelled with a four-run inning to secure the win. The Arizona Diamondbacks Scout Team got things going in the top half of the first frame with an RBI single from Camden Rakaczewski. Without an answer until the bottom of the fourth, SBA Bolts Nationally finally responded with an RBI double by Ivan Andino, followed by a defensive miscue that scored Andino. Picking up his second hit and RBI of the game, Rakaczewski recorded another RBI single, tying the game at two. A late four-run rally by SBA Bolts National saw a run score off a bases-loaded walk and a three-RBI double by Derek Vazquez that got SBA Bolts National the win.
FTB Phillies 2028 2, Performance Baseball/Milwaukee Brewers Scout Team 0
With only two hits in the entire game, the FTB Phillies were able to plate two runs and walk away with a win. Performance Baseball starter Quinn Birdsong went four shutout frames, only giving up one hit and striking out seven. FTB Phillies starter Trigg Listermann also went four shutout frames, giving up one hit, while striking out six. Scoring the first run off a back pick attempt that went into left field, followed by a balk, FTB took a 2-0 lead that decided the game.
Top Tier Select 5, Dirtbags 2028 National 4 (Resumed from June 23)
Starting the game with a bang, the Dirtbags got a leadoff homer from Henry Tutera along with two more runs from a walk and a wild pitch. Top Tier got their first two runs of the game off a defensive miscue, putting the score at 3-2 Dirtbags. The Dirtbags extended their lead at the top of the fifth with an RBI triple, extending the lead to two. With a huge rally in the bottom of the seventh, Top Tier used back-to-back RBI singles to walk off the Dirtbags 5-4.
ZT National Prospects 16U 3, Team Elite 0 (Resumed from June 23)
A combined shutout from the ZT National Prospect pitching staff saw seven innings of work, giving up five hits, no runs, and five strikeouts. The game went scoreless until the top of the seventh when Ryan Gates smacked a two-RBI triple to left field, followed by a sac-fly from Maximo Ruiz to score Gates. ZT held on to the 3-0 lead and earned the win.
Wow Factor National 16U 10, Texas Twelve Red Sox 2028 4
An offensive outburst in the second frame saw 10 runs scored in the second inning for Wow Factor National. Two RBI doubles and three RBI singles highlighted the offensive onslaught, with six out of the nine batters recording hits. An RBI single and a two-RBI double saw the Texas Twelve Red Sox score three runs. The last run for Texas Twelve Red Sox came in on an RBI single in the top of the seventh, leading to Wow Factor taking home a 10-4 win.
Alpha Prime 2028 10, PRD 3
Scoring three runs in the top of the third PRD got the game going and was highlighted by a sac-fly by Jaden Freeze. Alpha Prime responded with ten straight unanswered runs with back-to-back four-run innings across the third and fourth frames. Jack Graham went two innings to close out the game for Alpha Prime, securing the win.
SBA Bolts National 2028 9, Performance Baseball/Milwaukee Brewers Scout Team 3 (Delayed from June 23)
SBA Bolts National got things started in a hurry, scoring two runs in the top of the first, highlighted by an RBI double from Camden Dean. Performance Baseball got its first run of the contest on an RBI groundout by Parker Weston. SBA Bolts National later on exploded for five runs in the fifth frame with two triples bringing home two of the five. For an 8-1 lead. SBA found their ninth run of the game with a big fly by Ivan Andino to put the score at 9-2. Performance struck back in the bottom half with an RBI double by Cameron Massey, but it wouldn’t be enough with SBA winning 9-3.
FTB Phillies 2028 11, Arizona Diamondbacks Scout Team 1 (Delayed from June 23)
Scoring all 11 runs over the course of the second and third frames, the FTB Phillies cruised their way to a mercy rule victory. Using 10 hits over the course of the four-inning game, four players combined for 10 RBIs, with each player recording two or more. Eight out of the 10 starters recorded a hit in the contest, with the pitching staff locking down the win for the FTB Phillies.
