The quarterfinals were full of close calls, with the race for the championship heating up

Wildcatters Baseball 4, SBA Bolts National 13U 3

Wildcatters Baseball took down SBA Bolts National 4-3, as both teams notched six hits apiece in the contest. A late rally fell short, ending the SBA Bolts National’s comeback attempt. A three-run third inning saw two runs score off a defensive miscue on a bunt coverage before an RBI single to right field scored the third run of the frame. Entering the sixth inning, Wildcatters Baseball jumped out to a 4-0 lead on a sacrifice fly. In the bottom of the frame, SBA Bolts National struck back, plating three runs on walks and wild pitches. Wildcatters Baseball held the lead into the seventh and turned a 7-2 double play before a game-ending strikeout to advance to the semifinals.

FTB Phillies 13U National 5, Team Elite 3

With all eight runs plated over the last two frames, the FTB Phillies scored their five runs of the contest in the bottom of the sixth to secure a 5-3 victory over Team Elite. Three singles and patient at-bats by the FTB Phillies led to constant traffic on the bases, with an RBI single by Weston Rayburn highlighting the inning. Team Elite responded in the seventh inning, knocking two base hits and drawing three walks to score three runs, but it wasn’t enough as FTB Phillies held on to their 5-3 lead through the end of the contest.

ZT National Prospects 13U 5, PRD 2

ZT National Prospects jumped out to an early lead in the bottom of the first inning, plating the first run of the game on a fielder's choice to go up 1-0. PRD responded with a run of their own in the second frame with an RBI double by Luca Pellegrini, driving in Asher Stanton, who reached base on a walk. Scoring the next three runs of the game, ZT National Prospects’ run was highlighted by a solo homer by Joshua Abikarram in the bottom of the fifth, extending their lead to 4-1. In the top of the sixth, PRD answered with a run off on an Andrew Kessler RBI double, shrinking the lead to two. Sealing the game for ZT National Prospects, Abikarram recorded an RBI groundout in the bottom of the sixth, his second RBI of the game, to finalize the 5-2 victory.

USA Prime National 13U 11, South Charlotte Panthers 2031 Marucci 3

A big fourth inning propelled USA Prime National to a commanding 11-3 win over the South Charlotte Panthers. Opening the game with a two-run first inning, USA Prime National drove in two with an RBI single and a bases-loaded walk to take an early 2-0 lead. The South Charlotte Panthers responded immediately in the bottom of the frame with a single by Nolyn Gibson, bringing home their first run of the game. USA Prime National added to their lead in the second, highlighted by a Ryan Ardovino RBI triple, pushing the score to 5-1. The Panthers got one back in the third inning courtesy of a sacrifice fly, cutting the deficit to 5-2. A pivotal fourth inning saw USA Prime National plate six more runs with multiple RBI singles, putting them up 11-2. Manufacturing one run in the bottom of the fourth, the South Charlotte Panthers would add their final run of the game on an RBI single with USA Prime National taking home an 11-3 victory.
