Round of 32
GBG San Diego 3, Wildcatters National 0
A late-game rally for GBG San Diego proved to be the difference in the first of Sunday’s action. GBG knocked in three runs in the top of the seventh with a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch followed by a pair of RBI singles from Parks Card and Xavier Gutierrez. Pitcher Alfonso Valle went 6.2 innings of shutout baseball, as Roman Murphy relieved him to record the final out in the team's 3-0 win.

Trosky/Milwaukee Brewers Scout Team 7, GBG 2028 Navy 0
Pitchers Wyatt Richardson and Braden Arellano dazzled in Trosky’s 7-0 shutout effort. The duo allowed just one hit in the contest, as Richardson completed 6.0 scoreless innings before turning the ball over to Arellano to slam the door in the seventh. The strong effort on the mound was complimented by a two-run double off the bat of Dayton Kellner to provide the insurance needed to secure the victory.

Trosky National 2028 9, Alpha Valley 2028 8
An electric five-run bottom of the seventh completed the miraculous comeback win for Trosky National to punch its ticket into the round of 16. While being down 8-5, Trosky put together an improbable two-out rally with runs manufactured in all ways. National plated its five runs via a walk, fielder's choice, error, single and then the eventual two-run double from Javier Alvarez Jr. — who entered the game in the sixth inning — to complete the comeback and walk it off into the next round.

Stacked National 3, Canes West National 2029 2
Another walk-off ensued in the contest between Stacked National and Canes West National 2029 to continue a high-motor morning in the desert. With the game knotted up at 2-2 in the bottom of the seventh with a runner on third, Stacked National’s Griffin Doane was called upon in a pinch-hit scenario to win his team a ball game. Fresh off the bench, Doane stepped into the batters box with an aggressive approach, offering at the first pitch he saw and roping a single into left field to rise to the occasion and play hero for his squad in the storybook ending.

Stacked AZ 1, MBA Green 2028 0
The Stacked program enjoyed another narrow win, as this time it was Stacked AZ to edge out MBA Green in a tight contest that saw them pull away 1-0 in the sixth inning. After two singles and a walk, Stacked had the table set with a bases-loaded opportunity. In a 1-0 count, Chase Solar wore a fastball as Stacked pushed across the eventual game-winning run via hit-by-pitch. Pitcher Eric Lopez then worked scoreless innings in the sixth and seventh to keep MBA Green out of the run column while vaulting his team into the win column.

A balanced offensive approach lifted BPA Gold to a comfortable 6-1 win over Aces Baseball Group. Joaquin Covarrubias, Luis Estebam Parra and Pietro Rose each collected two hits apiece, as starting pitcher Joshua Calcanas punched out six in 5.0 innings. Connor Patlogar then toed the rubber in the sixth inning, turning in two scoreless innings to shut the door on Aces.

TB SOCAL EVOSHIELD 9, ZT Prospects Navy 16U 0
Nine runs on nine hits proved to be more than plenty of offense for TB SoCal Evoshield starting pitcher Mason Valles. Valles completed all five innings in the run rule shortened win, where he allowed just one hit and punched out seven. Tanner Hellman was stellar offensively, picking up two knocks and three RBIs which included a triple to help guide his team to the win column.

Jens Price tied things up with a one-out RBI single. He then came around to score what would be the game-winning run on a screeching double off the bat of Ryder Sand to make it 5-4. Pitcher Jason Pintar put the final touches on the win with a 1-2-3 bottom of the seventh to complete the comeback and send MBA Navy to the round of 16.

USA Prime West 4, Select Baseball 3
It took eight innings for a winner to emerge in a dogfight between USA Prime West and Select Baseball, with USA Prime pulling it out in the end. While being tied 3-3 in the bottom of the eighth, USA Prime’s Trevin Redd was able to apply pressure to the defense with a ground ball to the pitcher, where he gunned down the run at home, but then an errant throw in attempt to turn a double play resulted in USA Prime West touching home and walking it off to further advance at Champs AZ.

Baum Bat NW 10, CBA Victus 0
An offensive outburst resulted in a five inning run rule victory for Baum Bat NW to push them into the round of 16. ZT Prospects Columbia 3, West Coast Blackdogs 2028 1
A two-run top of the seventh gave ZT Prospects Columbia the late game edge in order to advance into the round of 16 with a narrow victory. Sebastian Mansell played hero for ZT, finding the outfield grass in a bases-loaded scenario to knock in two runs and put his team ahead in crunchtime. GBG National 10, BPA Gold 0
A statement win in only four innings helped give GBG National a breezy path to the quarterfinals. Scoring in all four innings – including six runs in the fourth – gave GBG a run rule victory full of offensive momentum spread equally amongst the lineup. Aaron Garcia and Nathan Danzeisen each went yard in today’s matchup, with Garcia’s inside-the-park home run to secure the win and put the run rule into effect.

TB SOCAL EVOSHIELD 8, EJ Sports Warriors 0
TB SoCal Evoshield continued its dominant run with a statement 8-0, run rule win over EJ Sports Warriors to punch their ticket to the elite eight. Leadoff man Cullen Green was the engine atop the SoCal lineup, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs to set the tone for the rest of the order and provide a spark for starting pitcher Justin Campos. Campos turned in a dominant outing, allowing just one hit in his full 5.0 innings on the mound while striking out four to help guide TB SoCal into Monday’s slate.

With the bases still loaded and the game now tied, Ryder Sand stepped up to the plate with a chance to completely flip the script. Baum Bat NW 6, USA Prime West 1
A three-spot in the top of first inning proved to be the tone setter for Baum Bat NW in their 6-1 win over USA Prime West. The 1-2 punch of Brody Santman and Mattox Murray combined to go 5-for-7 at the top of the order while Sebastian Unay drove in two RBIs. The pitching staff of Ryker Hartlaub and Sam Hoda combined to punch out nine while allowing just one earned run to help Baum Bat continue its impressive tournament run which will continue in the quarterfinals.

Scottsdale Dirtbags Black 9, ZT Prospects 7
The Dirtbags were able to hold onto a 9-7 win despite ZT Prospects six-run sixth inning to pull within one at 8-7. In search of a much-needed insurance run, Scottsdale was able to find it. Three at-bats consisting of a walk, single, and walk loaded up the bases for Troy Lydic. With his opportunity to find the insurance run, Lydic showed great poise at the plate and drew a walk to tack on a run and extend his team's lead to 9-7. Lydic then took the mound for the seventh inning, working a scoreless inning to erase ZT’s comeback efforts and close the round of 16 with a wire-to-wire win to wrap another exciting day at Champs Arizona.
