The Gold Standard feature series will highlight the top four individual performances from each week of the amateur baseball season. These four athletes will be identified by our partners at solely based on their weekly performances. Players do not have to be named to a Golden Spikes Award watch list to be featured.
Fans will be invited to vote on their favorite of the four performances through a poll posted from the Golden Spikes Award Twitter account (). The poll will be posted every Monday morning and voting will remain open through the following Tuesday at 5:00pm EST. The top performance of the week will be entirely decided by the Twitter fan vote and will be revealed in a weekly Gold Standard video series each Thursday.
