
CARY, N.C. – USA Baseball announced today it will host Regional Clinics in four cities across the United States this fall as part of its ongoing Coaches Clinic program. USA Baseball Regional Clinics are two-day immersive events hosted in professional baseball facilities that provide coaches of all levels unprecedented levels of instruction from former Major League Baseball (MLB) players, coaches from MLB and Minor League Baseball, USA Baseball national team alumni, national team coaches, and highly decorated coaches from the college and high school ranks.
The 2022 events will be hosted at Wintrust Field in Schaumburg, Illinois, from October 8–9, at Trenton Thunder Ballpark in Trenton, New Jersey, from October 15–16, at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas, from October 29–30, and a clinic presented in partnership with MLB and the Arizona Fall League at Spring Training facilities in Mesa, Arizona from November 5–6.

Regional Clinics provide over 10 hours of instruction to its attendees over two days. The first day will include guest instructors providing lecture-style and discussion-based training, and a cocktail hour and dinner for the participants to network with the instructors and USA Baseball staff. The second day takes place on-field, demonstrating the concepts introduced on day one. Lunch will be provided for all participants and will offer another opportunity to meet and speak with the instructors and fellow coaches in attendance. All coaches who register will receive a gift bag of USA Baseball gear and an in-depth program manual to take home.
Furthermore, attending a Regional Clinic satisfies the clinic attendance requirement for level “C” of the free USA Baseball Coaches Certification Program. The program is three-tiered and consists of ascending levels "A" Certification, "B" Certification, and "C" Certification. The program aims to create a higher standard of coaching education to enhance the ability of coaches to better serve their athletes, their teams, and their communities. The curriculum includes educational resources that cover important topics such as health and safety, creating a positive environment, recognizing and responding to misconduct, practice planning, game management, and skill-specific development.

- October 29–30: Sugar Land, Texas (Constellation Field)
- November 5–6: Mesa, Arizona
USA Baseball is proud to partner with MLB and the Arizona Fall League for its Mesa, Arizona Regional Clinic from November 5–6. Occurring in conjunction with the 16th edition of the Fall Stars Game, all clinic attendees will receive a complimentary ticket to the game on Saturday evening at Sloan Park, the Spring Training home of the Chicago Cubs. The cocktail hour reception will also be hosted there that evening.
Registration for a USA Baseball Regional Clinic is $119 per attendee or $99 per attendee for a staff of three or more coaches. Space is limited for each location. USA Baseball is happy to offer discounted hotel options for its participants that can be found on the USA Baseball Travel Services page.

- Ernie Young: Sydney 2000 Olympic Games gold medalist, two-time USA Baseball alum, six-time national team coach, and eight-year MLB veteran
- Veronica Alvarez: Three-time USA Baseball national team coach, current Women’s National Team manager, current coach with the Oakland A’s, 2019 Rod Dedeaux Coach of the Year, and five-time national team alum
- Tarrik Brock, Sr.: First Base Coach for the Pittsburgh Pirates
- J.R. House: Third Base Coach for the Cincinnati Reds and five-year MLB veteran
- RJ Farrell: Current USA Baseball 12U National Team manager and four-time national team coach
- Adam Moseley: Current 18U National Team pitching coach and two-time USA Baseball national team coaching alum
- Andy Stankiewicz: Three-time USA Baseball national team coach, two-time manager, 2014 Rod Dedeaux Coach of the Year, and current head coach at Grand Canyon University
- Jeremy Sheetinger: Georgia Gwinnett College Head Coach and 2021 Skip Bertman National Coach of the Year
- Rob Fournier: Head Coach at Wabash Valley College and 2022 inductee into the NJCAA Hall of Fame
- Kevin Graber: Head Coach at Phillips Academy Andover and ABCA and NHSBCA Region Coach of the Year
Instructors also include USA Baseball national team coaches Steve Butler, Butch Chaffin, and Rob Shabansky, as well as Andre Butler, who will coach in the PDP League for the second time in 2022. Current coaches in the professional ranks who will also present at Regional Clinics are Spencer Allen (Milwaukee Brewers) and Ryan Sienko (Detroit Tigers).
