Peoria, Arizona
At the Seattle Mariners’ training complex, Next Level Baseball and Storm Elite put on a duo of dominant blowouts. Next Level Baseball shutout the Diablo Valley Oaks 11-0 and Storm Elite beat out the Nevada Prospects 11-2, plating all 11 of their runs in the final three innings of their game.
On the other hand, there were two high-scoring, closely contested bouts on the Mariners’ fields. EJ Sports Warriors beat OC Premier Gray 7-6 after hanging on to its early 7-0 lead despite the Warriors scoring all six of its runs in the final two frames. Meanwhile, MBA Navy was successful in a comeback attempt, overcoming Swarm Red Elite National 2025’s six-run first inning for a 9-8 victory.
Three lopsided victories were taken by Building Champions National, CBA Victus San Diego 2025, and Sandlot Baseball Club CA at the San Diego Padres’ spring training facilities. Building Champions downed Zoots Baseball Club 8-3, CBA beat MBA Green 2025 10-2, and Sandlot beat SSC 2025 9-4.
Meanwhile, RCB Elite beat out Canes West Scout 4-3 in a tight match. After each team plated three early on, RCB scored a vital, go-ahead fifth-inning run to win the bout on the Padres’ quad.
The Nevada Prospects avenged their earlier loss with a late-inning, 3-1 win over Next Level Baseball. The Diablo Valley Oaks did the exact same in their 5-2 win over Storm Elite on the next field over.
The latter round on the Padres’ side of Peoria Sports Complex saw Building Champions beat MBA Green in a barnburner. BC beat out MBA by scoring in all but one inning and survived their opponents’ seven-run sixth inning. Next to BC, CBA Victus San Diego won 7-5 over Zoots Baseball Club.
Both Canes West Scout and RCB Elite held their opponents to just one run in their respective wins. Canes West won 8-1 after its starting pitcher, Colton Christman, threw a complete seven innings, two-hitting Sandlot Baseball Club while giving up no earned runs and tossing an impressive 10 K’s. Alongside Canes West, RCB won 7-1 over SSC 2025.
Surprise, Arizona
Action from the Texas Rangers’ spring training complex in Surprise started out with a pair of ruthless shutouts from Prime Red and South Texas Sliders 17U Mayer. Prime shut out Canes West Inland Empire 7-0 while the Sliders dominated the Scottsdale Dirtbags 8-0, each using an array of pitchers to get the job done.
While So Cal Birds Orange beat Top Tier Dudes 2025 7-3 on the Rangers’ fields, Team California Payne and Matadors 2025 were locked in a barnburner. The Matadors struck loudly and quickly, dialing up a six-run first inning while they added another five to their count by the end of the game’s six innings. Even though Team California Payne engineered its own six-run inning — in the top of the sixth, no less — the Matadors survived their opponents advances and won 11-10.
At the Kansas City Royals’ facilities, both CBA Marucci American and Stacked California plated six runs in their respective wins. CBA beat Alpha Force 6-2 and Stacked California took its second game of the tournament in a 6-3 victory over the San Diego Show.
Team Kado Hawaii beat MVP Hustle 4-2 in a back-and-forth contest. But on the adjacent field, TB SoCal survived its opponents in a 7-6 win over Playa Vista Orioles-US National. SoCal built up a 7-1 lead over the course of seven frames just to nearly give it away in the bottom of the seventh. Playa Vista plated five in the bottom of the frame before SoCal stopped its opponents in its tracks.
The Scottsdale Dirtbags started off the second leg of the afternoon’s doubleheaders with an 8-0 shutout over Canes Inland Empire with their starting pitcher, Ganon Dwyer, tossing a complete five innings with seven strikeouts. Top Tier Dudes also ran up the score in their second leg win, beating Team California Payne 9-2. Meanwhile, Prime Red earned its second win of the day in a 5-3 victory over the South Texas Sliders.
The final set of pool play games from Surprise included CBA Marucci American defeating the San Diego Show 4-2. Stacked National shut out Alpha Force 8-0, while MVP Hustle and TB SoCal each earned wins over their respective opponents. MVP Hustle won 5-1 over Playa Vista, and TB SoCal won in a close, 3-2 rout over Team Kado Hawaii.
