Two-time alum Bryce Rainer is currently ranked No. 47 on MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 Prospect List, while three-time alum and two-time gold medalist Aidan Miller is currently listed at No. 58.

Additionally, Davis Diaz, Patrick Forbes, Luke Holman, Paxton Kling, and Zion Rose are all top 30 prospects within their respective organizations.

Four alums – Diaz, Miller, Kyle Robinson, and Paxton Kling – are all currently playing at the Double-A or Triple-A levels for their respective Clubs. Diaz was recently promoted to the Las Vegas Aviators (Triple-A affiliate of the Athletics), Miller was promoted to the Reading Fightin’ Phils (Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies) in September, Robinson has been with the Rocket City Trash Pandas (Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels) since August, and Kling was promoted to the Frisco RoughRiders (Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers) last month.

The Gold Standard

Amongst the 13 alums, six different gold medals have been won in international competition: two at the 12U level (2015 and 2017), three at the 15U level (2017, 2018, and 2019), and one at the 18U level (2022).

Diaz is a three-time gold medalist, and Miller has captured two gold medals with Team USA. Diaz won gold with the 12U squad in 2015 and back-to-back medals with the 15U team in 2017 and 2018, and Miller won gold with the 2019 15U and 2022 18U National Teams.

Primed for the Bright Lights

Five different alumni in the AFL have multiple years of experience representing Team USA, with Diaz and Miller leading the way with their three national team nods. Barriera played with Miller on the 2016 12U and 2019 15U National Teams, Rainer was a part of the gold-medal winning 12U National Team in 2017 and played for the 18U National Team in 2023, and Zion Rose played for the Collegiate National Team in 2024 and 2025.

Reunited in the Desert

Several former teammates will reunite in the desert for the Arizona Fall League, as a combined five different national teams across four age groups boast multiple alums.

At the collegiate level, Holman and Robinson played together in 2023, and Brooks Bryan, Forbes, and Rose all played together in 2024. At the 18U level, Carter Johnson and Rainer played together in 2023. At the 12U and 15U levels, Barriera and Miller played together at the 2016 COPABE Pan Am "A" Championships and the 2019 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-15 Baseball World Cup Americas Qualifier.
