TAINAN, Taiwan -  The USA Baseball 12U National Team wraps up the opening round of the 2019 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-12 Baseball World Cup with a matchup against Korea. First pitch is set for 10:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday, July 31 or Tuesday, July 30, at 10:00 p.m. ET at ASPAC B Stadium in Tainan, Taiwan. 

Team USA looks to bounce back after suffering its second loss of the tournament against Mexico, 2-1, on Tuesday. The loss eliminated the U.S. from medal contention.

The U.S. holds a 2-0 record against Korea at the WBSC U-12 World Cup after earning an 18-1 win in 2015 and a 27-6 victory in 2017. Korea sits atop the Group B standings in the tournament with a 4-0 record, before Super Round play begins on Thursday.
