DURHAM, N.C. - The 2021 15U National Team Trials Stars vs. Stripes Series is set for the game three on Monday at Durham Athletic Park in Durham, North Carolina. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET.

The Stripes' bats stayed hot in game two of the series, scoring double-digit runs for the second straight game in a walk-off, 10-9 win on Sunday. The Stars took two four-run leads in the game, but the Stripes scored five runs over the final three innings to move to 2-0 on the series.

Monday's game will be the final at Durham Athletic Park before 15U National Team Trials shifts to the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina for the remainder of the series.

Notable Information

• Carson Page (Hahira, Ga.) is batting 1.000 (7-for-7) through the first two games of the series, adding two doubles and a walk.
• The Stripes have tallied 16 hits in both games of the series.
• The Stars drew 10 walks in game two, with both Everett Johnson (Youngsville, N.C.) and George Wolkow (Downers Grove, Ill.) reaching twice via the base-on-balls.
• The roster comprises 44 of the best 15-and-under players from across the entire country, selected by the USA Baseball Task Force throughout several different identification events.
• Eight USA Baseball national team alumni are on the roster, including five gold-medal winners (Tristan Bristow, Masa Chilcutt, Kailand Halstead, Dean Moss, and Michael Torres).
• The roster features athletes from 17 different states, with Texas leading the way with seven selections. California and Florida both have six players on the roster.
• Halpert is making his USA Baseball managerial debut after serving as an assistant coach on the gold-medal winning 2019 15U National Team, which won gold at the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup Americas Qualifier. He is currently in his sixth season at the helm of Harvard-Westlake School (Studio City, Calif.).
• The Stripes are led by manager Steve Butler, while the Stars are managed by Jeff Sherman. Both managers are assistant coaches for the 15U National Team.
• The 2021 15U National Team roster will be announced on September 2, at the conclusion of trials.
