Thirty-three Collegiate National Team (CNT) alumni will participate in NCAA Regional play, including 18 members of the 2025 CNT roster, 19 from the 2024 squad, and one from the 2022 team.

Twenty-eight NCAA Tournament teams feature at least one USA Baseball alum on their roster. The Lawrence and Chapel Hill Regionals lead all sites with eight alumni apiece, while every regional except Tallahassee includes a former national team player.

Arkansas leads all NCAA Tournament teams with six USA Baseball alumni on its 2026 roster. While the Razorbacks have six former national team players, several have worn the red, white, and blue more than once, combining for eight USA Baseball roster selections across the 15U, 18U, and Collegiate National Team programs.

Athens Regional (5 Alumni)

Fresh off its first SEC Tournament title in program history, host Georgia accounts for all five USA Baseball alumni competing in the Athens Regional. The Bulldogs are led by 2024 Collegiate National Team members Tre Phelps, Joey Volchko, and Matt Scott; Phelps and Volchko competed on the Summer League Tour roster while Scott played in the International Friendship Series in a five-game slate against Chinese Taipei. Utility player Henry Allen represented the United States on the 2021 15U National Team, while right-handed pitcher Dylan Wood rounds out the group after helping Team USA capture gold at the 2024 WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup.

Georgia welcomes Boston College, Liberty, and LIU to Athens as the Bulldogs look to continue their historic season.

Atlanta Regional (5 Alumni)

Five USA Baseball alumni are set to compete in the Atlanta Regional, highlighted by Georgia Tech teammates Drew Burress and Vahn Lackey, both 2026 Golden Spikes Award semifinalists. Burress, a three-time USA Baseball alum, recently became the Yellow Jackets’ all-time home run leader with 58 career homers, while Lackey enters postseason play after helping Georgia Tech capture its first ACC Tournament title since 2014.

The Yellow Jackets also feature 2024 Collegiate National Team alum Dylan Loy.

Oklahoma features a pair of alumni in Xander Mercurius (2019 12U, 2022 15U) and Cameron Johnson (2022 18U). Johnson served as the Sooners’ Friday night starter throughout the regular season, while Mercurius made an immediate impact as a freshman, striking out 33 batters over 33.2 innings pitched.

The Citadel and UIC complete the Atlanta Regional field.

Auburn Regional (3 Alumni)

Three USA Baseball alumni will take the field in the Auburn Regional, including former 2025 Collegiate National Team teammates Chris Rembert and Ryan Marohn. While the two represented Team USA together last summer, they will compete on opposite sides this weekend as Auburn and NC State pursue a regional title.

Rembert, Auburn’s captain, enters postseason play riding a career-best 12-game hitting streak, while fellow Tiger Ethin Bingaman (2024 18U) has enjoyed a strong freshman campaign after opting for college following his selection in the 20th round of the 2025 MLB Draft.

Marohn, the junior left-hander, will begin the postseason after recording a 3.18 ERA and 62 strikeouts in 45.1 innings pitched this regular season.

UCF and Milwaukee round out the Auburn Regional.

Austin Regional (5 Alumni)

Host Texas brings four USA Baseball alumni into postseason play, the most of any team in the Austin Regional. Ashton Larson, a member of the gold medal-winning 2017 12U National Team, has been a valuable contributor for the Longhorns, while Casey Borba (2022 18U), Cooper Rummel (2024 18U), and Jack McKernan (2019 12U, 2022 15U, 2023 18U) round out Texas’ Team USA alumni.

UC Santa Barbara’s Stunner Gonzales (2022 18U) is the lone non-Longhorn USA Baseball alum in the regional. The right-hander played a key role on the 2022 18U National Team and will look to help the Gauchos advance through a talented regional field.

Chapel Hill Regional (8 Alumni)

Tied with Lawrence for the most USA Baseball alumni of any regional site, the Chapel Hill Regional features eight former national team players across three programs. While North Carolina serves as the host, Tennessee brings the largest alumni group with five on its roster.

The Volunteers are led by 2023 18U National Team teammates Levi Clark, Tegan Kuhns, and Manny Marin, while Henry Ford (2024 CNT) and Trent Grindlinger (2024 18U) add additional USA Baseball experience.

North Carolina counters with two alumni of its own: 2019 U-15 Baseball World Cup Americas Qualifier gold medalist Matthew Matthijs, who also played on the 2024 Collegiate National Team and Macon Winslow, a 2022 U-18 Baseball World Cup gold medalist. ECU’s Ethan Norby (2025 CNT) completes the regional’s alumni representation.

College Station Regional (2 Alumni)

Host Texas A&M features a pair of USA Baseball alumni as the Aggies look to make a postseason run on their home field.

Freshman Nico Partida is expected to return to the lineup after missing nearly a month with a hamstring injury. Before his absence, the 2024 18U National Team alum was enjoying a standout freshman season, hitting .317 with 12 home runs, 52 hits, eight doubles, and 41 RBIs. Joining him is Gavin Grahovac, a highly-decorated USA Baseball alumni. Grahovac has represented Team USA at the 12U, 18U, and Collegiate National Team levels and enters regional play after earning SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors.

Texas A&M hosts Southern California, Texas State, and Lamar University.

Eugene Regional (5 Alumni)

The Eugene Regional features five USA Baseball alumni split between Oregon and Oregon State.

Host Oregon is led by 2024 18U National Team Tournament MVP Brayden Jaksa and catcher Burke-Lee Mabeus, who represented Team USA on the 2023 18U National Team.

Oregon State counters with a trio of alumni, including 2025 Collegiate National Team member Ethan Kleinschmit, who served as the Beavers’ Friday night starter throughout the season. Right-handed pitchers Eric Segura (2024 CNT) and Dax Whitney (2025 18U), who underwent UCL surgery in May, complete Oregon State’s USA Baseball alumni group, making them the strongest in the regional.

Making up the Eugene Regional, Oregon and Oregon St. are joined by Washington State and Yale.

Gainesville Regional (6 Alumni)

Rivals Florida and Miami account for all six USA Baseball alumni competing in the Gainesville Regional.

Florida’s trio includes Liam Peterson (2024 & 2025 CNT), Christian Rodriguez (2022 18U), and multi-time USA Baseball alum Karson Bowen (2016 12U, 2018 & 2019 15U, 2021 18U). Peterson enters postseason play after earning SEC Pitcher of the Week honors during the regular season.

Miami counters with Michael Torres (2018 12U, 2021 15U, 2022 18U), Alex Sosa (2024 CNT), and 2025 Golden Spikes Award semifinalist Daniel Cuvet (2024 CNT). Should the Gators and Hurricanes meet during regional play, USA Baseball talent will be on full display.

Troy and Rider round out the field.

Hattiesburg Regional (3 Alumni)

Three USA Baseball alumni will compete in the second-ever Hattiesburg Regional, all representing Virginia. Eric Becker, a member of both the 2024 and 2025 Collegiate National Teams, leads the group after hitting .322 this season. He is joined by right-handed pitcher Jayden Stroman (2019 12U) and two-way player Kyle Johnson (2024 CNT) as the Cavaliers look to advance past Southern Miss, Jacksonville State, and Little Rock.

Lawrence Regional (8 Alumni)

2024 Collegiate National Team alum Dominic Voegele and the Kansas Jayhawks will host the first-ever Lawrence Regional, competing against Arkansas, Missouri State, and Northeastern. Voegele has started on the mound 15 times for Kansas in 2026 and will serve as the starting pitcher for Friday’s NCAA regional opener against Northeastern.

Arkansas brings the largest group of USA Baseball alumni, led by 2026 Golden Spikes Award semifinalist Ryder Helfrick (2025 CNT) and fellow national team teammates Cole Gibler and Gabe Gaeckle, who were also on the 2025 roster.

Ethan McElvain (2019 15U & 2024 CNT), Jordan Martin (2024 18U), and Camden Kozeal (2022 18U) add further USA Baseball experience for the Razorbacks, while Missouri State pitcher Ross Felder (2018 12U) rounds out the regional’s alumni representation.

Lincoln Regional (5 Alumni)

Although Nebraska serves as the host, all five USA Baseball alumni in the Lincoln Regional come from Ole Miss and Arizona State.

Ole Miss is led by 2022 Collegiate National Team member Hunter Elliott, who will get the start to open the Rebels’ postseason play. Cade Townsend (2022 18U) will likely be the game two starter, with Collin Reuter (2015 12U) rounding out the USA Baseball alumni representing Ole Miss.

Arizona State counters with Brandon Olivera (2017 12U & 2019 15U) and Brenden Lewis (2019 12U) who will compete in the postseason for the first time with the Sun Devils.

Los Angeles Regional (6 Alumni)

Six USA Baseball alumni are set for postseason action in Los Angeles, including three members of the 2025 Collegiate National Team.

UCLA shortstop Roch Cholowsky headlines the group after establishing himself as one of the nation’s premier players and the projected number one pick in the 2026 MLB Draft. The Bruins also feature Mulivai Levu (2025 CNT), Roman Martin (2022 18U), Jack O’Connor (2021 18U), and Zach Strickland (2021 15U).

Virginia Tech’s Brett Renfrow (2024 & 2025 CNT) is the lone non-Bruin USA Baseball alum in the regional and is expected to start on the mound for the Hokies in their first postseason game against Cal Poly.

Morgantown Regional (4 Alumni)

Wake Forest and Kentucky account for all four USA Baseball alumni competing in Morgantown.

Matthew Dallas, the starting pitcher for the 18U National Team in the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup gold-medal game in 2022, and Andrew Costello, a 2022 All-World Team honoree, bring plenty of experience to the Demon Deacons, while 2025 Collegiate National Team member Blake Morningstar rounds out Wake Forest’s trio.

Kentucky is represented by Tyler Bell, who enjoyed a breakout season after spending last summer with the Collegiate National Team and earned SEC Co-Player of the Week honors during the regular season.

Host West Virginia and Binghamton complete the regional.

Starkville Regional (2 Alumni)

Host Mississippi State features both USA Baseball alumni competing in the Starkville Regional.

Right-handed pitcher Ryan McPherson (2021 15U, 2025 CNT) has been a reliable arm for the Bulldogs throughout the season, while infielder Ace Reese (2025 CNT) has emerged as one of the SEC’s top offensive performers. Together, the duo will look to lead Mississippi State through a regional field that includes Cincinnati, Louisiana, and Lipscomb.

Tuscaloosa Regional (5 Alumni)

Five USA Baseball alumni are set to compete in Tuscaloosa, with Alabama and Oklahoma State accounting for the entire group.

Alabama’s Justin Lebron, a 2024 Collegiate National Team alum and 2026 Golden Spikes Award semifinalist, headlines the regional as one of the nation’s most dynamic players. The junior helped guide the Crimson Tide to a third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and enters postseason play as one of two players in the country to have at least 38 stolen bases and only been caught once this season.

Oklahoma State counters with four alumni, including freshmen Sebastian Norman and Zane Burns, who helped Team USA win gold at the 2022 WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup. Campbell Smithwick (2022 18U) and Brennan Phillips (2021 18U) round out the Cowboys’ USA Baseball contingent as Oklahoma State looks to make a deep postseason run.
