The 2025 Arizona Fall League (AFL) rosters have just been revealed with top prospects set to take the field starting October 6. Between the six AFL teams, USA Baseball boasts 19 national team alumni who are prepared to hit the diamond, fine-tune their mechanics, and make a splash in the desert this autumn. Check out all the players who have previously donned the stars and stripes in this year's AFL below!
COLLEGIATE NATIONAL TEAM
Twelve players who were selected to compete in MLB’s AFL played for the Collegiate National Team - one from the 2021 team, five from the 2022 squad, and six from the 2023 roster.
Adam Stone (Mesa), who played on the 2021 team, will be making his return to minor league ball after suffering injuries that have kept him off the diamond the last two seasons.
Maui Ahuna (Scottsdale), Enrique Bradfield Jr. (Peoria), Jack Hurley (Salt River), Carson Montgomery (Peoria), and Brayden Taylor (Mesa) all played on the 2022 squad together that earned a bronze medal at Honkbalweek Haarlem.
Bradfield has had a strong season in the minors, as he was recently promoted to the Triple-A Norfolk Tides (BAL), after starting the year in rookie ball. He is currently slashing .252/.363/.357 through 68 games and will be reunited with Montgomery, who is coming back off an injury, in Peoria.
Ahuna, like Bradfield, started off in rookie ball and is currently with the High-A Eugene Emeralds (SF). He got off to a hot start in Eugene with a six-game hit streak, including four multi-hit games, and holds a .311 batting average in High-A ball.
Hurley and Taylor are both playing at the Double-A level, as Hurley is with the Amarillo Sod Poodles (ARI), while Taylor is with the Montgomery Biscuits (TB). The two of them have played a combined 170 games this season and have helped their teams sit atop their respective division standings heading into the playoffs.
Charlie Condon (Salt River), Seaver King (Scottsdale), Braden Montgomery (Glendale), Malcolm Moore (Surprise), Brandon Neely (Salt River), and Hagen Smith (Glendale) were a part of the 2023 Collegiate squad that finished with a 7-3 record in five-game series with Chinese Taipei and Japan.

Condon, King, Montgomery, and Smith were all selected in the top 12 of the 2024 MLB Draft and are all playing at the Double-A level for their respective Clubs. Condon has tallied 21 extra-base hits since bring promoted in July to the Hartford Goats (COL), King has been on a hot streak by tallying at least one hit in six of his last eight games for the Harrisburg Senators (WSH), while Montgomery is currently batting .272 with nine multi-hit games and Smith has collected three wins on the mound as teammates for the Birmingham Barons (CWS).
Moore, who is with the High-A Hub City Spartanburgers (TEX), has 41 hits through 57 games, and Neely will be making his first appearance in the minors this fall when he reunites with Condon at Salt River.
18U NATIONAL TEAM
Five players who earned 2025 AFL roster spots have previously played on the 18U National Team – all five competed on the 2022 team, while two have competed on the team in multiple years, as Blake Mitchell (Surprise) played on the 2021 team while PJ Morlando (Mesa) participated in 2023.
Top prospects Kevin McGonigle (Scottsdale), Aidan Miller (Surprise), and Mitchell highlight this well-rounded group of position players. In 2025 alone, McGonigle ascended from Single-A to Double-A, as he is batting .285 combined while driving in a total of 75 runs. Meanwhile, the eighth overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, Mitchell, holds a .247 batting average between the Arizona Complex League and High-A after suffering an injury earlier in the season.
Since being drafted as the 27th overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, Miller has quickly climbed the ranks and has already found playing time at the Triple-A level. During the bulk of his season with the Double-A Reading Fightin Phils (PHI), Miller hit to a .259 tune and racked up 105 hits with more than a third of those being by way of extra-base hits.
A pair of outfielders in Kendall George (Glendale) and Morlando will also see time in the desert this fall. George showcased a strong .295 batting average and swiped 100 bags during his tenure with the High-A Great Lakes Loons (LAD). Meanwhile, 20-year-old Morlando drove in 30 runs on 43 hits with the High-A Jupiter Hammerheads (MIA).
Miller stood out among the very best among a roster of high-caliber players in 2022, leading the team at the plate by slashing .478/.594/1.000 to help secure gold medal number 16 for the 18U National Team. On that same World Cup-winning team, George led the squad in stolen bases (5) and batted .364 while McGonigle and Mitchell hit .240 and .133, respectively. In 2023, Morlando helped his team win gold in the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-18 Baseball World Cup Americas Qualifier by notching a .333 batting average and leading the roster in home runs (3).

15U NATIONAL TEAM
Two 15U National Team alums who ended in High-A this summer have been selected to compete in this year's AFL. 2016 alum Nate Wohlgemuth (Scottsdale) will compete for the Scorpions of Scottsdale while 2018 alum Christian Little (Peoria) will play for the Javelinas.
After a solid start in the Florida Complex League in which Wohlgemuth posted a 1.50 ERA with two saves in eight appearances, the 2016 alum signed a minor league contract with the Houston Astros and found a new home in Asheville for the second half of the summer. With the High-A Asheville Tourists (HOU), Wohlgemuth tallied a 1-1 record in nine games pitched, tossing 11 innings in the process. During the 15U National Team’s bronze-medal run in 2016, Wohlgemuth made two appearances on the bump, picked up a save, and yielded zero runs.
Meanwhile, Seattle’s farm of arms hopes to produce another talent in 22-year-old Little, Seattle’s 11th-round pick in the 2024 MLB Draft from Louisiana State University. Little made the jump from Single-A to High-A, landing with the Everett AquaSox (SEA) just 30 miles from the Mariners’ T-Mobile Park. With the Modesto Nuts, Little started 15 games and owned a 4.09 ERA. In just a pair of starts in Everett, he has surrendered only six hits and lowered his ERA to 3.00. In 2018, Little helped power the stars and stripes to a gold medal by making two starts and posting a 2-0 record on the bump.
12U NATIONAL TEAM
The 12U National Team has a lone participant in this year’s AFL, a representative none better than three-time Team USA alum Aidan Miller.
The 12U National Team’s lone representative not only donned the red, white, and blue in 2016, but also played on the 15U National Team and 18U National Team. Additionally, Aidan and his brother, Jackson, were at the forefront of USA Baseball’s “Homegrown Clinic” held in the Millers’ hometown of New Port Richey, Florida in 2024, meant to help share their passion for the game with the next generation of players.
During his time with the 12U National Team, Miller batted .400 in seven games played with a home run. He proceeded to hit .263 with the 15U National Team during their gold-medal run at the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup Americas Qualifier and managed to win gold with the 18U National Team and lead the squad in batting average (.478), hits (11), and extra-base hits (5) just three years later.
