St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) used a five-run burst in the ninth inning to secure an 11-6 extra-inning victory over Trinity Christian (Jacksonville, Fla.). The Braves held a 6-2 lead until the fifth when the Conquerors plated four runs on as many hits and an error to knot the score at 6-6. After three scoreless innings, St. John Bosco used a five-run ninth behind four hitless innings from reliever Griffin Tagliaferri to pick up its second win of the weekend.
Tampa Jesuit 7, Regis Jesuit 5
Tampa Jesuit (Tampa, Fla.) scored five runs over the final two innings to knock off Regis Jesuit (Aurora, Colo.), 7-5, in consolation action on Friday morning. Regis Jesuit scored the first three runs of the game on RBI hits by Jackson Olson and Hudson Albert and a sacrifice fly by Chase Massey, all in the first two frames. The lead extended to 5-1 in the fourth, but a wild pitch, hit batter, and RBI single by Brady Marshall tied the contest before two more runs scored in the sixth to give Tampa its second win of the week.
Gloucester Catholic 11, Nolensville 3
A seven-run first inning propelled Gloucester Catholic (Gloucester City, N.J.) to an 11-3 win over Nolensville (Nolensville, Tenn.) in consolation competition to improve to 2-1 on the week at the NHSI. After giving up a pair of runs in the top half of the first, Gloucester Catholic proceeded to score 10 unanswered runs until Nolensville’s Kyson Barney launched a leadoff solo shot in the sixth. Five players for Gloucester Catholic tallied multi-hit outings, Braeden Lipoff and Henry Pancoast each drove in four runs apiece, and the Rams hung 17 hits as a team.
Aquinas 10, Edmond Memorial 0
Aquinas (San Bernardino, Calif.) picked up its first win of the 2026 NHSI in dominating fashion, taking down Edmond Memorial (Edmond, Okla.), 10-0. Leading 1-0 in the fourth, the Falcons rattled off five runs in the fourth and three more in the fifth to take control of the game. Carter Hadnot and Johnny Tena each picked up two hits for the victors, and Hadnot was joined by Jacob Bitonti as the only two players to drive in multiple runs. Gavin Loeb-Keene shined on the bump for Aquinas, tossing five shutout innings.
Harvard-Westlake 17, Trinity (KY) 3
An offensive explosion from Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, Calif.) propelled the Wolverines to a commanding victory over Trinity (Louisville, Ky.). Jake Kim kicked things off for the Wolverines in the top of the first with a towering two-run shot to right field. The Shamrocks countered with two runs in the bottom of the third, but Harvard-Westlake responded with a four spot in the top of the fourth to regain control. With pitcher Jake Chung holding Trinity at bay (4.0 IP, 2 ER, 5 Ks), the Wolverines waited until the last inning to put the game away for good, scoring eight runs on six hits and two walks in the top of the seventh. Kim and James Tronstein finished the game with three hits apiece for Harvard-Westlake, while freshman Louis Lappe led the team with four base knocks.
Delbarton 3, Wakefield 2
Delbarton (Morristown, N.J.) came from behind and scored three unanswered runs to down Wakefield (Raleigh, N.C.), 3-2, in a consolation game on the third day of the NHSI. After Wakefield plated a pair in the second inning, Delbarton's arms buckled down and allowed only four hits the remainder of the contest and held the Wolverines scoreless. Delbarton broke through in the fifth and proceeded to plate a run apiece the following two innings. Their starter, Finnian O'Loughlin, came through in the clutch in the seventh with an RBI single to hand his team the go-ahead run.
