2020 15U National Team Championships North Carolina All-Tournament Team Announced

CARY, N.C. -- USA Baseball named the All-Tournament Team for the inaugural 15U National Team Championships North Carolina on Sunday, following the conclusion of the event.

Team Elite secured a 7-6 comeback victory over Elite Squad to win the gold medal. Ten teams are represented on the All-Tournament Team with 5 Star National Dobbs, Canes National, Elite Squad, Empire Baseball, Richmond Braves Platinum and Team Elite all boasting multiple selections.

The 2020 15U National Team Championships North Carolina All-Tournament Team:

Ryker Chavis - 5 Star National Dobbs Ryker Chavis was named to the All-Tournament Team after tying for third in the tournament, and leading 5 Star National Dobbs, in strikeouts with nine. He also did not allow an earned run in his two appearances and gave up just three hits and one walk.

Daniel Cuvet - Elite Squad Daniel Cuvet's nine RBIs in eight games led the entire field at the 15U National Team Championships North Carolina, earning him a spot on the All-Tournament Team. He also played a major role in Elite Squad's run to the championship game as he went 2-for-4 with two RBIs in the team's quarterfinal win and recorded two triples and nine hits throughout the week.

Cameron Donaldson - Flood City Elite Cameron Donaldson's eight RBIs led Flood City Elite and tied for the second-most in the entire tournament to earn him a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Additionally, he recorded a .462 batting average and six hits, including a double and a triple, in six games at the event.

Henry Ford - Tri-State Arsenal Henry Ford finished the 15U National Team Championships North Carolina with a .545 average, six hits and team-leading eight RBIs to secure a spot on the All-Tournament Team. He also went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Tri-State Arsenal's defeat of eventual-champion Team Elite on Tuesday, August 4.

Gavin Gallaher - Canes National Gavin Gallaher's .444 average, eight hits and six RBIs were good enough to land him a spot on the All-Tournament Team. In addition, his seven singles in in six games led Canes National and he went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored in Canes National's 12-1 defeat of TPA National on Wednesday, August 5.

Alvin "Tre" Keels - Richmond Braves Platinum Alvin Keels led Richmond Braves Platinum in hits (7) and stolen bases (4) at the 15U National Team Championships North Carolina to earn a spot on the All-Tournament Team. He finished the tournament hitting .500 with a triple and four runs scored to help lead his team to a 3-3 record at the event.

Dylan Loy - 5 Star National Dobbs Dylan Loy led the event in strikeouts to earn a spot on the All-Tournament Team. He recorded 12 punchouts over eight innings pitched without giving up a run. He also allowed just three hits and two walks in his two starts for 5 Star National Dobbs.

Bryan Loriga - Elite Squad Elite Squad's Bryan Loriga was named to the All-Tournament Team after hitting .333 with two doubles and five RBIs. He finished the tournament 6-for-18 in six games and scored two runs as Elite Squad advanced to the playoffs.

Cooper Milford - Team GA Baseball Cooper Milford earned his spot on the All-Tournament Team after leading the entire event in stolen bases and runs scored, swiping 11 bags and scoring 11 runs over the course of eight games. He also hit .421 for the week and recorded seven hits.

Evan Miranda - Empire Baseball Evan Miranda led Empire Baseball in innings pitched during the 15U National Team Championships North Carolina with 7.2 innings of work over the course of two appearances. He also earned the win in both his starts and recorded seven strikeouts to earn his spot on the All-Tournament Team.

Brysen Nepute - Team Elite Brysen Nepute was named to the All-Tournament Team after helping to lead Team Elite to the 15U National Team Championships North Carolina with a .600 average and nine hits over eight games. He also tied for the lead on Team Elite with nine hits and four doubles in the event and went 3-for-4 in Team Elite's quarterfinal win to secure its berth in the semifinals.

Marc Quarrie - Florida Bombers Marc Quarrie tied for the event lead in triples with two in six games while hitting .545 over the course of the week to earn a spot on the All-Tournament Team. In addition, he collected six hits, five RBIs, four runs scored and drew three walks for the Florida Bombers.

Campbell Smithwick - Canes National Campbell Smithwick was named to the All-Tournament Team after leading Canes National in batting average (.600), hits (9) and doubles (3). He also tied for the team lead with eight RBIs and seven runs scored in six games during the week.

Steven Spalitta - Elite Squad Steven Spalitta tied for the event lead in hits with 10 over the course of eight games to earn a spot on the All-Tournament Team. He also recorded six RBIs and four runs scored to help lead Elite Squad to a championship game berth in the 15U National Team Championships North Carolina.

Ryan Terrell - Richmond Braves Platinum Ryan Terrell led the entire field in the tournament in innings pitched with 10 in his two appearances. He allowed just three hits in his 10 innings of work and picked up the win in both games while recording a 0.70 ERA.

Drew Titsworth - Team Elite Drew Titsworth was named to the All-Tournament Team after making two strong appearances for eventual-champions Team Elite in the event, including earning the win in the team's quarterfinal victory over Canes National to secure a spot in the semifinals. Over the course of the 15U National Team Championships North Carolina, Titsworth did not allow an earned run in 6.2 innings of work, while collecting seven punchouts.
