PHOENIX — Saddleback Cowboys Black and USA Prime National advanced to the gold-medal game at the 14U National Team Championships Arizona with a pair of wins apiece Tuesday.

The two sides will square off with a championship on the line Wednesday at Peoria Sports Complex with first pitch set for 7 a.m. MT.

Semifinal — Saddleback Cowboys Black 3, San Diego SHOW 1

Saddleback Cowboys Black used a combined one-run performance from Bradley Beaudreau and Luke Anderson to top San Diego SHOW by a 3-1 final and earn a spot in the gold-medal game of the 14U National Team Championships Arizona.

Beaudreau, who scattered three hits across four innings of work, allowed just one run to earn the victory. After he issued a bases-loaded walk and allowed the first run of the game to cross the plate, Beaudreau retired nine of the next 10 batters he faced.

Anderson, meanwhile, posted three scoreless frames out of the bullpen in his third appearance on the mound at the tournament. The 5-foot-10 right-hander worked out of a trio of jams to secure the semifinal win — two on, nobdy out in the fifth, two on, nobody out in the sixth and two on, two outs in the seventh.

Despite placing plenty of pressure on Saddleback's defense, San Diego SHOW could not capitalize at the plate. The team left nine runners on base in the narrow loss and Gavin Kramer's bases-loaded walk in the second represented its lone run of the game.

Saddleback tied the game in quick fashion when Luke Blanchard singled home a run, and the Cowboys took the lead just one inning later after Josh Hollis posted an RBI-double and Christopher Saucedo plated another run with a triple to right.

Saddleback Cowboys Black, the No. 14 seed in the 14U tournament, are set to face 20th-seeded USA Prime National in Wednesday's gold-medal match. First pitch is scheduled for 7 a.m. MT at Peoria Sports Complex.

An eight-run first inning powered USA Prime National to the gold-medal game at the 14U National Team Championships Arizona with a 12-1 semifinal win against Chino Hills Thunder.

USA Prime's Camden Clewett doubled and drove in four runs, while Landon Schaefer recorded three hits, scored twice and stole his third base of the tournament to pace the offense.

Schaefer, along with Kayson Cunningham and Sean Gamble each scored two runs apiece in the victory.

Eight of the first nine batters reached base safely for USA Prime, which included a leadoff off the bat of Josiah Hartshorn.

The first-inning barrage proved to be plenty of support for USA Prime starter Ty Hawkins, who scattered three hits across four innings of work and allowed just one run while striking out four.

Jarren Haros brought home the game's lone run for Chino Hills Thunder via an RBI-groundout in the third.

USA Prime National, the tournament's 20th seed, will battle for gold against 14th-seeded Saddleback Cowboys Black at 7 a.m. MT at Peoria Sports Complex (main stadium).
