Phoenix – Tyler Stull went deep and drove home four runs in his only game for the GBG Renegades to secure Player of the Day Honors in seeded play at the 17U National Team Championships Arizona.

Stull left the yard in the bottom of the first inning as he smashed a two-run shot over the wall in left field to put his team up 3-0. His RBI single later in the game tied the contest at 11 and gave his team the opportunity to walk it off with a 12-11 victory.

Over his last two games, Stull is now 4-for-6 and has led the GBG Renegades to a 3-1 record as they await the bracket reveal.

Matthew Cons (California Armada 2023) earned Pitcher of the Day honors after a complete-game shutout on the mound against BPA Black to remain unbeaten after seeded play.

Cons allowed only three hits on the afternoon and fanned five in just under 100 pitches for his team. He got ahead of 18 of the 27 batters he faced and didn’t allow any runs in his first tournament outing.

The lefty guided California Armada 2023 (4-0) to a narrow 1-0 victory in their game on Wednesday.
