Won a silver medal with Team USA at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, finishing the tournament hitting .263 (5-for-19) and starting all six games in right field. He was one of three players with multiple hits in the opening game of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 against Israel, finishing 2-for-4 with a run scored in the 8-1 victory. Filia hit a double against Japan in the quarterfinals, went 1-for-2 with a stolen base in the 3-1 victory over the Dominican Republic to secure Team USA’s spot in the semifinals, and ended the tournament with a 1-for-3 day against Japan in the gold medal game.

Filia started all four games in right field for Team USA at the WBSC Baseball Americas Qualifier, hitting .313 with a home run and five RBIs for the tournament. He drove in a pair of key runs as part of a 2-for-5 night in Team USA’s 7-1 win over Nicaragua to open the AOQ. Filia also drove in Team USA’s first run of its 10-1 victory over Canada with a two-out, third-inning single. Filia went 2-for-4 with a double, homer, and two RBIs against Venezuela in a 4-2 U.S. victory.
