Season Summary

General: Jack Lopez was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 16th round of the 2011 MLB Draft out of Deltona High School in Deltona, Florida. He has spent the past nine seasons in mi-nor league baseball, spending time with three teams. Lopez is currently a member of the Boston Red Sox organization.

MiLB: Lopez made his professional debut in 2012, advancing to Single-A Full Season in his first year. He batted .230 in his first season of professional baseball. In 2014, Lopez was named Rookie of the Year while playing for the Cangrejeros de Santurce in the Dominican Republic. Lopez was also named to the Texas League All-Star Team in 2017 as a member of the North-west Arkansas Naturals. The infielder had his best professional season in 2019, batting .273 with 12 homers and 57 RBIs for the Gwinnett Stripers. He is currently a member of the Worcester Red Sox, batting .304 in 158 at-bats.
