Won a silver medal with Team USA at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Got the start against Japan in the quarterfinal game and was lifted after 2.2 innings, giving up five hits, two runs, and three walks in a no-decision.

Baz was a member of the 2016 18U National Team, winning a gold medal at the COPABE Pan Am “AAA” Championships. He struck out four batters in three innings pitched and picked up a pair of hits in the tournament.
