Quarterfinals
White Sox ACE 2029 15, Jason Kidd Select 8
Down by four runs going into the bottom of fifth, White Sox ACE 2029 sparked a five-run inning to comeback and change the narrative of today’s matchup. An electric sixth inning for the White Sox sparked hope for the semifinals, and they finished the job just three outs later to punch their ticket. Aarion Gould had a huge day offensively, going 3-for-3 at the plate with a double, a triple and also scoring three times. Cylis Rainey also added three hits during his plate appearances, and added a team-high five RBI.

Franklin Scout Team / BTD 11, Prime 10
Lucas Murphy
led the way for Franklin Scout Team with a standout 4-for-5 performance at the plate including a game-changing single in the top of the seventh. After a defensive miscommunication during Murphy’s single, Hayden Bercier and Ricardo Moros scored to keep Franklin Scout Team alive for a shot at the semifinals. Delano Torkura stepped up to the mound with confidence in the bottom of the seventh, notching two strikeouts and forcing a groundout to help lead his team to victory. In 5.0 innings, Torkura allowed only one earned run and recorded six strikeouts.

Seattle Select 15U 7, MoJo Ghost National 4
Seattle Select struck fire immediately to open the first inning and never looked back once taking the lead. Eli Brookshaw and Andrew Lynch split the work on the hill, and combined for a total 10 strikeouts to help slow down the offensive efforts from MoJo Ghost National. An RBI double from Drey Lopez and an RBI single from Kenji Chin got the dugout rocking with energy in the sixth inning, boosting Seattle’s lead to three. For the rest of the game, clutch defensive efforts helped Seattle finish strong and earn a spot in the semifinals.

GBG National 8, TB SoCal Evoshield 6
A back-and-forth battle called for offensive production late in the game, and GBG National delivered. After facing a 6-3 deficit, GBG National took charge in the fifth inning to take a one run lead, and added one more insurance run in the sixth to scathe through to the semifinals. Macin Garci and Ethan Drozco each recorded three hits to lead GBG from the plate, and Carson Fitzpatrick went yard for his first home run of Champs Arizona.

Semifinals
Franklin Scout Team 7 vs White Sox ACE 2029 2
The Franklin Scout Team middle of the lineup featuring Ryan Marchial and Jacob Reyes provided a huge offensive output, combining to go 5-for-7 with three extra base hits and three RBIs. Franklin held an early 4-0 lead, but White Sox Ace’s Paris Head swatted a solo home run to give his team a much-needed momentum surge. However, Franklin punched back immediately, plating a run in the top of the fifth before adding a pair of insurance runs in the seventh to sail into Monday’s championship with a perfect 6-0 record.

Seattle Select 15U 14, GBG National 3
An explosive 10 runs in the first inning assisted Seattle Select’s dominant run-rule victory in the semifinals to keep their momentum rolling into the championship. In 4.0 innings of gameplay, Drey Lopez and Vinnie Guerra split up the work on the mound, with Lopez collecting three strikeouts during his 3.0 innings pitched. Aidan Garcia had an elite day at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs and coming across the plate to score twice. Kenji Chin continued his stellar Sunday in the batter’s box, going perfect at the plate collecting two RBI and one walk. KJ Tilley and Lopez each earned an additional two RBI, respectively. Seattle, the No. 31 seed of the tournament, will continue its Cinderella run with a chance for gold at Surprise Stadium on Monday morning.
