The USA Baseball 10U Futures Invitational is an elite youth championship event, exclusively reserved for top 10-and-under teams and athletes. The four-day, championship tournament will feature some of the top youth talent in the country and will be hosted at the USA Baseball National Training Complex, the official training site of Team USA and adjoining Thomas Brooks Park in Cary, North Carolina.
Teams at the Futures Invitational will have the opportunity to interact with the nation's best collegiate talent (Collegiate National Team) who will also be working out at the National Training Complex. This unique opportunity will also include unprecedented access to national team coaches and staff throughout the tournament.

Admission to Thomas Brooks Park and the Futures Invitational will be free of charge.

There will, however, be gate fees at the USA Baseball National Training Complex for the Collegiate National Team games. All Futures Invitational players and coaches will be given a USA Baseball credential which will allow entrance into the National Training Complex free of charge. Family and other guests in attendance with Futures Invitational participants will be able to pick up a complimentary credential at the entrance gates of Thomas Brooks Park (while supplies last) that will allow them admission into the National Training Complex should they choose to go over to that side of the park.

Gates at Thomas Brooks Park will open one hour prior to the first scheduled game time on any given day.
 
Event programs will be available at the entrance gates of Thomas Brooks Park free of charge while supplies last.
 
On Saturday, June 24, players will take individual and team photos at Bill Coleman Field of the National Training Complex. Following the event, players and coaches will receive these photos at no charge via email. The email will contain a link where players are able to download the pictures.

Additionally, throughout the event there will be professional photographers taking action photos. These photos will be available for purchase on USABaseballPhotos.com following the event. Players and families wishing to look through the photos will need to use the password "FS" in order to access the gallery on .
 
Live Scoring:
All games at the Futures Invitational will be available through the GameChanger scoring app (Apple and Android). Links will be available on USABaseball.com.

Cameras & Video Equipment:
USA Baseball has also adopted the following policy regarding camera lenses (including telephoto and zoom lenses) for any of the organization's events. Spectators are not permitted to bring telephoto or zoom camera lenses into the Futures Invitational venue. Cameras may be brought in to the venues so long as they are not accompanied by these types of lenses. Only USA Baseball personnel and credentialed members of the media are permitted to have possession of telephoto and zoom lenses. This policy is in place to ensure that all of our players, coaches and fans have a positive experience at our events.

There is no cost for parking at Thomas Brooks Park or the USA Baseball National Training Complex.

Prohibited actions and items at both Thomas Brooks Park and the USA Baseball National Training Complex are as follows:

• Animals are not permitted except for service animals
• Weapons of any kind are prohibited
• Alcoholic beverages are prohibited

Bag Search:
All bags are subject to a bag search upon entering Thomas Brooks Park or the USA Baseball National Training Complex.

Concessions:
At Thomas Brooks Park and the USA Baseball National Training Complex there will be concession available. Therefore, outside food, beverages and coolers will not be permitted.

Lost and Found:
The tower at Thomas Brooks Park will serve as the lost and found for the event.

First-Aid:
A certified athletic trainer will be on-site at the Futures Invitational throughout the entire event.

Pitch Smart:
Major League Baseball and USA Baseball have teamed up to help young players reduce arm injuries through Pitch Smart, a comprehensive resource for safe pitching practices. Pitch Smart offers a series of practical, age-appropriate guidelines to help players, parents and coaches avoid overuse injuries and foster long, healthy careers. The guidelines were developed throughout the 2014 regular season, as MLB and USA Baseball collaboratively sought to pool the recommendations of many leading medical authorities in the sport in conjunction with baseball officials. The program was formally launched in late 2014.

The site offers pitch count and rest recommendations, statistics on Tommy John surgery, risk factors, awareness tips, published research and videos from experts, including Dr. James Andrews and USA Baseball's medical safety committee chairman, Dr. Glenn Fleisig. USA Baseball, the national governing body for amateur baseball, is fully compliant with the Pitch Smart program and will use PitchSmart.org as a major resource to educate the amateur baseball community on pitcher safety. Play Sun Smart:
Play Sun Smart is a joint skin cancer initiative by Major League Baseball, the Major League Baseball Players Association and the American Academy of Dermatology, and is supported by USA Baseball. The program aims to raise awareness of skin cancer and offer prevention and detection tips to the baseball community. Since 1999, the American Academy of Dermatology has conducted nearly 39,000 screenings through the Play Sun Smart program. More than 1,300 suspicious spots have been detected, including 168 melanomas through these screenings.

Coaches Education Program:
As the national governing body for baseball in the United States, USA Baseball, in partnership with the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS), has developed and launched "Coaching Baseball," the latest online sport-specific course in its Coaches Education Program. The course is now available online at . USA Baseball is recommending that all coaches participating in its events use the course as a resource to improve their skills. Course completion is strongly recommended for all USA Baseball events.

In addition to "Coaching Baseball," USA Baseball would also like to recommend several other NFHS resources for coaches and fans. "Heat Illness Prevention", "Creating a Safe and Respectful Environment", "Positive Sports Parenting" and "Sportsmanship" are courses that can assist in creating a positive environment for your team at USA Baseball events and beyond. SafeSport:
In 2010, the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) convened the Working Group for Safe Training Environments and charged it with the task of developing a set of recommendations concerning misconduct in sport. The diverse group included individuals from the Olympic family as well as outside experts. The SafeSport program is the culmination of the sustained work on the part of these passionate individuals, addressing misconduct in sport by providing information, training, and resources, while focusing on four primary objectives:

• Addressing sexual and physical misconduct in sport.
• Reviewing the guidelines across sports and other related organizations for responding to these issues.
• Assessing the needs of athletes, coaches, staff, National Governing Bodies (NGBs), clubs and other sport organizations.
• Developing a set of recommendations to promote athlete well-being.
