  • San Francisco Giants starter Robbie Ray (2009 18U) threw back-to-back eight-inning shutouts in his two starts against the Athletics. The 34-year-old southpaw allowed only two hits to earn the win on Tuesday night, then allowed only four in his victory on Sunday.
  • Anthony Seigler (2017 18U) has been red hot since the Red Sox called him up on June 20. The second baseman had six hits last week in Boston’s sweep of the Yankees, and his 1.222 OPS over the last seven days is the fourth highest mark in the American League.
  • Dansby Swanson (2014 CNT) racked up 15 RBIs in 24 hours for the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday and Wednesday. Swanson went 2-for-3 with a homer and four RBIs on Tuesday night, then 5-for-9 with two round trippers and 11 RBIs during Wednesday’s doubleheader against the Mets.
