CARY, N.C. - USA Baseball announced today that the Futures Series scheduled for May 15-17 in Irvine, California, has been cancelled due to the rapid spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) across the United States. This event will not be rescheduled.
At this time, a second Futures Series event is still scheduled to take place in Irvine, California, from August 28-30. Registration is still open for this event (click here).
USA Baseball will continue to closely monitor the ongoing situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and diligently evaluate the status of its events scheduled to take place after May 17. All decisions will be made in as timely of a manner as possible with respect to the safety and well-being of all the participating athletes, coaches and fans.
