Championship Sunday After Day Three of the 10U Futures Invitational

Elite Squad clinched a spot in Sunday's Championship game with a 12-2 win over Twelve Baseball in the first semifinal game of the 2019 10U Futures Invitational. You can read the full recap of the game here.
Arizona National Baseball Academy rallied to overcome a 7-2 deficit in the third inning to earn a walk-off win in the seventh inning of the second semifinal matchup over Top Tier Americans. A full recap of the game is available here.
Arizona National Baseball Academy (4-0) and Elite Squad (4-0) will meet in the 2019 10U Futures Invitational on Sunday. First pitch is set for 11:45 a.m. ET at Thomas Brooks Park in Cary, North Carolina.
Top Tier Americans (3-1) will face Twelve Baseball (2-2) in the bronze medal game on Sunday. The bronze medal game will begin at 8:15 a.m. ET on field seven.

Hooks Baseball 0, SBA Nationals 7


Ivana Andino allowed just one hit in 5.1 scoreless innings on the mound as the SBA Nationals defeated Hooks Baseball 7-0 on Saturday at Thomas Brooks Park in Cary, N.C.
Troy Alderfer opened scoring for SBA Nationals in the bottom of the second after hitting a two RBI-double that brought home Andino and Derek Vasquez who reached base on a walk and a single, respectively. Alderfer stole home two pitches later as Brian Devereaux hit an inside-the-park home run to give SBA Nationals the 4-0 lead. The SBA Nationals scored on an RBI-single from Devereaux in the fourth inning, before Leyton Guhl hit an RBI-single and stole home two batters later to give SBA a 7-0 win.
SBA Nationals' starting pitcher Andino (1-0) earned the win for his efforts on the mound while Dax Pharris (0-1) suffered the loss for Hooks Baseball.
SBA Nationals improved to 2-2 in the tournament, while Hooks Baseball fell to 0-4.

Parker Jets 1, San Diego Show 6


The San Diego Show used a five-run third inning to earn a 6-1 win over the Parker Jets on Saturday at Thomas Brooks Park in Cary, N.C.
San Diego Show struck first as Jack Greco hit an RBI-triple to right field in the bottom of the first. Greco led off the third inning with a single, before Braylen Ross and Lukas Waite hit back-to-back RBI singles to extend the lead to 3-0. William Millett gave the San Diego Show a 4-0 lead in the next at-bat after he hit a double to right field that scored Waite. The San Diego extended its lead to 6-0 later in the inning on a walk and an error. The Parker Jets plated its first run of the game in the top of the sixth as Jett Lemonds scored on a San Diego Show error.
William M (1-0) earned the win for the San Diego Show after striking out three and allowing just four hits in four shutout innings on the mound. Jett Lemonds (0-1) was tagged with the loss for the Parker Jets.
San Diego Show improves to 2-2 in the tournament, while the Parker Jets fell to 1-3.

Kangaroo Court 0, Braves Baseball Academy 5


Lukus Perez and Orion Gonzalez to throw a two-hit shutout to lead the Braves Baseball past Kangaroo Court, 5-0, on Saturday at Thomas Brooks Park in Cary, N.C.
Braves Baseball Academy led from start to finish after scoring four runs in the first inning. Aidann Ruiz led off the game with a walk, before scoring on an RBI-triple from Perez. On the next pitch, Yahir Treto hit an RBI-single to center field before Dru Wilson recorded a two-RBI double. The Braves Baseball Academy added its final run of the game on another Ruiz RBI-single in the bottom of the second to win the game 5-0.
Perez (1-0) earned the win for the Braves Baseball Academy after striking out six and not allowing a hit in three innings on the mound. Kangaroo Court's Logan Kirkland (0-1) was given the loss after four earned runs in two innings on the mound.
The Braves Baseball Academy wrapped day three with a 3-1 record, while Kangaroo Court fell to 2-2.

New Level Nationals 14, Nationals Showcase 2


The New Level Nationals used a complete game from Maxwell Hemenway on the mound and a six-run first inning to power past Nationals Showcase, 14-2, on Saturday at Thomas Brooks Park in Cary, N.C.
New Level Nationals started the game fast as it hit five RBI-singles, including four straight, jump out to an early 6-0 lead in the top of the first. The New Level Nationals plated two more runs in the top of the second inning and one in the third to take an 8-0 lead before Nationals Showcase added two in the bottom of the fifth to cut the lead to 8-2. The New Level Nationals finished the game just as they started it, adding six runs in the sixth inning to earn a 14-2 win.
Hemenway (1-0) earned the win on the mound for New Level Baseball after allowing just two runs on five hits and striking out two in the game. Nelson Whit Davis (0-1) suffered the loss for Nationals Showcase after giving up eight runs on ten hits in two innings on the mound.
New Level Nationals improved to 1-3, while the Nationals Showcase dropped to 0-3-1 at the 2019 10U Futures Invitational.

Dream Chaser 1, Stars Baseball Colangelo 13


Stars Baseball Colangelo plated 13 runs in the first three innings to cruise to a 13-1 win over the Dream Chasers on Saturday at Thomas Brooks Park in Cary, N.C.
Stars Baseball Colangelo scored three runs in the bottom of the first on an RBI hit-by-pitch by Cole McMillan and a two-RBI single from Landon Ludington. The Dream Chasers cut the lead to 3-1 in the top of the second after Josiah Figuereo brought home Arthur Samwick with a fielder's choice. Serf Guerra responded in the bottom inning by hitting a three-RBI inside-the-park home run to center field before Gatlyn Grace stole home to give Stars Baseball Colangelo a 7-1 advantage. Stars Baseball Colangelo recorded six hits and drew two walks in the bottom of the third to add six runs to the board before the game ended due to the run-rule.
Star Baseball Colangelo's starting pitcher Chace Colangelo (1-0) earned the win on the mound after pitching all four innings and allowing just one run and striking out four. Josiah Figuereo (0-1) suffered the loss for the Dream Chasers after five runs in 1.1 innings on the mound.
Stars Baseball Colangelo finished the third day of the tournament with a 2-2 overall record, while the Dream Chasers fell to 1-3.

Pacific Baseball Academy 6, Chino Hills Thunder 3


Pacific Baseball Academy overcame a three-run deficit in the top of the sixth to earn a 6-3 win over Chino Hills Thunder on the third day of the 2019 Futures Invitational.
The Chino Hills Thunder struck first in the bottom of the third as Dylan Seward scored on a groundout from Santiago Montiel. The Chino Hills Thunder added another RBI-groundout in the bottom of the fourth before Christian Santoyo plated Julian Garcia with an infield single in the fifth to take a 3-0 lead. Pacific Baseball Academy came alive in the top of the sixth as Adrian Valencia led off the inning with an inside-the-park-homerun to cut the lead to 3-1. Pacific Baseball Academy tied the game on a two-run error that brought Landon Pratt and Ira Rootman home.
With runners on first and second in the bottom top of the seventh due to the international run-rule, Trevor Chang led off the inning with an RBI-single through the right side, before a fielder's choice brought home Jet Adams. Pacific Baseball Academy scored its third run of the inning as Valencia hit an RBI-single to the shortstop to take a 6-3 lead in the bottom half of the seventh. With Chang on the mound for the second straight inning, Pacific Baseball Academy forced a lineout and a double play to end the game.
Chang (1-0) earned the win in relief for Pacific Baseball Academy after Chino Hills Thunder scoreless and allowing just one hit in two innings on the mound. Owen Mescall (0-1) was tagged with the loss for Chino Hills Thunder.
Pacific Baseball Academy improved to 3-1 with the win, while the Chino Hills Thunder fell to 2-2.
