Six USA Baseball Alums Selected to AFL Fall Star Game

First pitch set for November 8 at 8 p.m. ET on MLB Network

The Arizona Fall League announced its rosters for the 2026 Arizona Fall League Fall Stars Game set for November 8, and six USA Baseball alums have been selected to participate. Brooks Bryan (2024 CNT), Davis Diaz (2015 12U, 2017 & 2018 15U), Paxton Kling (2021 18U), and Zion Rose (2024 CNT & 2025 CNT) will represent the American League, and Luke Holman (2023 CNT) and Aidan Miller (2016 12U, 2019 15U, 2022 18U) will represent the National League.

First pitch is set for 8 p.m. ET at Salt River Fields, the spring training home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies, and the game will air live on MLB Network and MLB.com.

The six alums have been recognized as standout performers in the premier offseason developmental league. A combination of scouts, AFL staff, and national baseball reporters select the players for the annual showcase of baseball’s future stars from their respective American and National League organizations.

Historically, a large percentage of AFL participants—and particularly Fall Stars—go on to carve out significant careers or make All-Star teams in Major League Baseball, with roughly 35 percent of recent MLB All-Stars having roots in the AFL.

Bryan, who will also participate in the Home Run Derby on November 7, currently owns a .586 slugging percentage and .980 OPS through 14 games with the Saguaros, which rank top 20 in the league. He also has four home runs and 17 RBIs to his name, which rank fifth and sixth, respectively, among all players.

Diaz, a three-time gold medalist for Team USA and a top 30 prospect for the Athletics, has played in 12 games for the Mesa Solar Sox and is slashing .302/.436/.442. He has tallied 13 hits, including three doubles and a home run, 11 RBIs, four runs scored, 11 walks, and two stolen bases.

Holman has made five appearances, including four starts, on the mound for the Peoria Javelinas and has compiled a 0.69 ERA through 13.0 innings pitched. His ERA is the third lowest in the AFL and his 20 strikeouts rank fifth overall. Additionally, he is a top 30 prospect for the Cincinnati Reds organization and leads the league with a .114 batting average against.

Kling, a top 30 prospect for the Texas Rangers, currently ranks second in the league in batting average with a .361 clip, and has tallied 22 hits, 13 RBIs, and 14 runs scored through 16 games. As a member of the Saguaros roster, he has swiped 14 bags in 15 attempts, which leads the team and ranks third overall in the AFL.

Miller is slashing .320/.547/.480 through 15 games played with the Surprise Saguaros. His on-base percentage and 24 walks lead the league, and six of his 16 hits this fall have been for extra bases. Miller is a two-time gold medalist for Team USA and currently ranks 58th on MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 Prospect List.

Through 15 games, Rose is slashing .328/.494/.517 with the Saguaros. He has been one of the most consistent players in the league this year, showing why he is a top 30 prospect for the Kansas City Royals. He currently ranks top 20 overall in the AFL in hits (19), runs scored (17), triples (2), home runs (2), RBIs (16), walks (16), stolen bases (14), and OPS (1.011).

The 2026 regular season ends on November 11, and the AFL playoffs begin November 12 with the quarterfinal round at Sloan Park. The semifinals and championship game will run November 13 and 14, respectively, at Peoria Sports Complex, and the championship game will be broadcast on MLB Network.
