CARY, N.C. – USA Baseball today announced the roster for the 2026 15U National Team Training Camp Phase 1, which will be held August 6-9 at the National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina. The 64-player roster will compete for a spot at Phase 2 of Training Camp, which is set for September 16-18 and will consist of 32 players.

The final 20-player roster for the 2026 15U National Team will be named at the conclusion of Phase 2, and will compete in the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-15 Baseball World Cup from September 25-October 4 in Mérida, Mexico.

“We are excited to announce this year’s 15U National Team Training Camp Phase 1 roster,” said 15U National Team Program Director Ben Kelley. “From top to bottom, this is an extremely talented group featuring the top 15-and-under players from across the country. We are equally excited to have an experienced coaching staff that will mentor and evaluate these athletes as we undertake a competitive week in Cary.”

Sixteen players invited to Training Camp Phase 1 bring previous national team experience, including 12 members from the World Cup-winning 2023 12U National Team. Micah Delos Reyes, 2023 Richard W. “Dick” Case Award winner Tyler Early, Kingston George, Ty Glaus, Nate Handley-White, Paris Head, Raylen Hunter, Zaylon Johnson, Bryant Ju, Jesse Maddox, Michael Ohman, and Greyson Wuis look to compete for another world title with Team USA. Additionally, Miles Lockridge, Joshua Park, Clayton Ratliff, and Carlo Rivero return after helping the 2024 12U National Team capture a gold medal at the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup Americas Qualifier.

Twenty-eight players on the Training Camp roster have participated in USA Baseball national team development programming. Twenty-four competed at last summer’s 13U/14U Athlete Development Program (ADP), while Nolan Bingham, Early, Glaus, Lockridge**,** and Rivero have each participated in multiple editions of the 13U/14U ADP. In addition, Head has competed in four past development events jointly hosted in partnership with Major League Baseball: the Breakthrough Series, DREAM Series, Hank Aaron Invitational, and ID Tour.

Six players who competed in this last week’s 13U/14U ADP earned invitations to Training Camp, while 13 athletes were selected after competing in last summer’s National Team Identification Series (NTIS). Additionally, 42 players who competed at this year’s National Team Championships in Arizona and North Carolina were invited to participate in Training Camp.

In all, 21 different states and the District of Columbia are represented on the Training Camp Phase 1 roster. California leads all states with 16 players, while Alabama and Arizona follow with six apiece. Eleven different states boast multiple players, while six states–Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, North Carolina, and Texas–each account for at least four athletes on the roster. Three hail from South Carolina and Virginia, while two players will make the trip from Georgia, Louisiana, and New Jersey.

Phase 1 of 15U National Team Training Camp will feature intrasquad scrimmages, PDP Performance Assessments, and player development sessions. 15U National Team Training Camp Phase 1 will be led by the entire 15U National Team coaching staff, in addition to eight additional Training Camp coaches. RJ Farrell, Rob Shabansky, Larry Vucan, and John Weber will serve as team managers, while Matt Denny, Steve Dintaman, Jonathan Pollard, and Derek Simmons will carry out assistant coaching duties.

The 2026 15U National Team will be led by the same coaching staff that guided last year’s gold medal-winning squad. Three-time Team USA coach Casey Scott returns as manager for a second consecutive summer, while three-time Team USA medalist and former 15U National Team manager Drew Briese serves as pitching coach. Four-time assistant coach Steve Butler returns to the dugout, and JD Pruitt will make his second straight stint as assistant coach.
