CARY, N.C. – USA Baseball today named the 50-man roster for the 2026 13U/14U Athlete Development Program. The event will be held August 1-4 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.

The ADP features advanced on-field skills development with positional and team-fundamental drills, along with ongoing evaluation by the coaching staff. The participants will also be split into two teams and compete head-to-head in a series of games. Additionally, the athletes will participate in off-field educational seminars while gaining additional exposure to professional scouts and college recruiters.

“We’re thrilled to introduce the fifty athletes selected for this year’s 13U/14U Athlete Development Program,” said Jeff Feltman, USA Baseball’s Assistant Director of Baseball Operations. “This group showcases exceptional talent, with each athlete having impressed our coaches and Task Force members during our identification events. We’re excited to support their growth and deepen their understanding of the game next week in Cary.”

The roster announcement comes after the conclusion of the National Team Championships in Arizona and North Carolina, which serves as the event’s primary identification event, along with the 2025 National Team Identification Series (NTIS) Champions Cup. Twenty-seven athletes participated in the National Team Championships while 23 players were identified at the NTIS Champions Cup. Forty players on this year’s roster will make their debuts within USA Baseball development programming.

Seventeen players on this year’s ADP roster have played on a past 12U National Team. Jack Carson, Christopher Chikodroff, Russell McGee, Duncan Mount, Jake Romero, Jaxon Spray, and Kristian Valadez will reunite in Cary after helping the stars and stripes win gold at the 2025 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-12 Baseball World Cup in Tainan, Taiwan. Chikodroff won Most Valuable Player at the World Cup last summer and made the All-World Team, along with Valadez.

Additionally, 10 athletes were members of the 2024 12U National Team that won gold at the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup Americas Qualifier in Panama City, Panama. That list includes Christian Cicero, Bronx Holbron, Cooper Hutton, Miles Lockridge, Jack Mattingly, Daylon McCants, Joshua Park, Joshua Pierre, Jayden Portes, and Carlo Rivero. Six of these players were also participants in the 2025 version of the ADP: Hutton, Lockridge, Mattingly, Pierre, Portes, and Rivero. They join four other returners from the 2025 ADP in Lucca Bacigalupi, Nolan Bingham, Colt Carter, and Wyatt Peabody.

Twenty-one states are represented on the 50-man ADP roster in 2026. California leads all states with 11 representatives, followed by Florida with eight, and Texas with four. Georgia and Tennessee have three athletes apiece, while Hawaii, Kentucky, North Carolina, Nevada, and South Carolina also boast multiple athletes.

Five-time 12U National Team coach and gold medalist RJ Farrell will serve as field coordinator for this year’s 13U/14U ADP, with former big league outfielder Eric Crozier taking the reigns as hitting coordinator. Each will be making his ADP coaching debut. They will be joined on staff by team managers Matt Denny and Jonathan Pollard, pitching coaches Brett Tomko and Matt Frisbee, and assistant coaches Mo Blakeney and Brandon Martorano. Collectively, this group includes five former professional players and two former Major Leaguers. They have combined to coach six high school state championship teams and more than 100 future Division I players.
