CARY, N.C. – USA Baseball today announced that it will host one of the national qualifying tournaments for the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) eBaseball™ Series.
The WBSC eBaseball™ USA Qualifiers will take place beginning August 15 with two tournaments taking place in the WBSC eBaseball™ Series Space on Challengermode. One tournament will be for the Steam/PC version of eBaseball™: PRO SPIRIT, and the other will use the PlayStation version of the game.
The PC/Steam version of the tournament can be found here, while the PlayStation version of the tournament can be found here. There is no fee to enter the tournament.
Each tournament is open to residents of the United States, its outlying islands, and Puerto Rico. The two players who make the Grand Finals of each double-elimination tournament will earn a spot in the USA Finals in the WBSC eBaseball™ Series on November 13, which will be held in Raleigh, North Carolina.
To round out the field of six players for the tournament, the top two United States players in the WBSC eBaseball™ Global Rankings who have not already previously qualified for the WBSC eBaseball™ Series World Finals or USA Finals will earn a spot in the USA Finals. Those rankings are calculated by playing WBSC-sanctioned tournaments in the series’ Challengermode space.
USA Baseball is proud to partner with WBSC in its eSports endeavors, having hosted in-person USA Finals events since the launch of the WBSC eBaseball™ Series in 2023. USA Baseball also hosted the WBSC eBaseball™ Series World Finals in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2025, and will do so again from November 14-15, 2026.
