PROSPECT DEVELOPMENT PIPELINE (PDP) LEAGUE

UPDATE: The 2020 PDP League has been cancelled.

The MLB/USA Baseball PDP League serves as the primary identification opportunity for the USA Baseball 18U National Team. The PDP League is an invitation-based development opportunity for approximately 88 of the top high school baseball players ahead of the MLB First-Year Player Draft.

PDP League athletes will take part in a dynamic, development-centric experience throughout the two-and-a-half-week exposure. Athletes engage in individualized strength, conditioning and wellness training, on-field instruction, competitive game play, seminars and more. Participating athletes also have the opportunity to experience the amenities of MLB facilities. At the conclusion of the PDP League, approximately 44 players are selected to participate in the MLB High School All-American Game as a part of the MLB All-Star Game festivities.
