USA Baseball announced that Michael Hill, longtime general manager and current vice president of on-field operations and workforce development for Major League Baseball, will serve as the general manager for Team USA at the 2026 WBC. Additionally, Mark DeRosa will return to the dugout to manage Team USA.
USA Baseball named the Team USA coaching staff for the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Nine assistant coaches will join Manager Mark DeRosa, who returns to the U.S. dugout for the second consecutive Classic after leading the stars and stripes to a silver medal in 2023.
World Baseball Classic, Inc. (WBCI) announced the finalized pools and schedule for the 2026 World Baseball Classic following the Qualifiers held earlier this year in Taipei, Taiwan and Tucson, Arizona.
